Hyperventilation

Hi ladies,

I'm 22 weeks pregnant and dealing with hyperventilation that triggers panic attacks. It got so bad that I'm now on medication. I'm on sick leave and barely dare to go outside because I'm afraid of having a panic attack. Right now, I'm reading a lot of books about it and working on myself. I really want to live life worry-free and enjoy my pregnancy more, but I worry too much. Does anyone relate to this?

Hi Cleo, I don’t recognize this but I do know someone who suffers a lot from hyperventilation (chronic form) and benefits greatly from breathing exercises.

    Hey Nienke

    Thanks for your reply!
I'm also doing breathing exercises, but the physio says this can sometimes make hyperventilation worse, so try not to focus too much on it, but thanks for the tip!

    Greetings
    Cleo
