HCG levels

Hi ladies,
I’m 4 weeks and 2 days pregnant today. I had my blood drawn yesterday and my result was 268.
I think it’s looking good, but I’m still scared because I had a miscarriage 3 months ago.
What were your values?
Best wishes, and hopefully you’d like to share yours with me?

Why does no one ever respond?

Because someone else's values don't say anything about yours..

I can't help you, I've never had an hcg shot.
Wishing you a nice pregnancy, don't compare yourself too much to others, it won't help you at all!

Your hCG levels are definitely higher after a recent miscarriage. And as you said, it doesn't really mean anything. Everyone who has had a miscarriage has gone on to have a healthy baby

I agree with the ladies above.

    Congratulations!!!!

If you look online for what good values are, yours are good. But it really doesn't say anything about how your pregnancy will go.

I understand you're scared right now. Try to enjoy it anyway. You and your baby need that and deserve it.

Eefje, I don't know about your hCG values being higher after a recent miscarriage. After my third miscarriage, I had my blood drawn, and the values were back to 0. You can only get pregnant again once the hCG has left your body. How can you have higher values after a recent miscarriage?

Sorry, I missed it. My levels were 368. Thanks for the replies. I'll try to enjoy myself, but I'll only feel really reassured once I've seen the heartbeat And Beertje is right, it's not higher after a miscarriage because I was back at 0. If you have hCG in your body, you don't ovulate...
