Does anyone else relate to this?

I was wondering if the following experience is familiar to anyone...

Normally, I have a fairly regular cycle: 31-34 days. I was supposed to get my period last week (Tuesday), but it didn't happen. My period was 5-6 days late, and I tested negative twice. I did have sore breasts and constant dull pain in my lower abdomen. A few days ago, I had some severe cramps in my lower abdomen, but they didn't last long. A couple of hours later, I had light pink/mucus-like discharge, and the cramps went away. Since the next day, it seems like I'm on my period, but very light (now on the third day). Could this just be a normal period that came a bit late, or is something else going on?
