Echo 6 weeks!

Dear ladies!

I counted 5.5 weeks pregnant today from my ovulation. I had a late ovulation, namely on day 19. On 10 DPO I had a positive test from CB week indicator. Now I'm allowed to come on Thursday for an ultrasound at 6.2 weeks due to a previous miscarriage. Now I wonder if heartbeat will be visible then..

Has anyone had an ultrasound in the beginning of week 6 and if so, what was visible?

    First of all, congratulations! It might be visible, but I don't think it has to be yet. If the person doing your ultrasound doesn't see a heartbeat (which I assume is what you're worried about), they can definitely tell you exactly what's going on. Often you'll need to come back a week later... good luck!!!

    I had an internal ultrasound at 6+5 (measurement came out to 6+3) because I got pregnant after fertility treatments. There was already a clear and regular heartbeat visible!
    There's a little picture with my photos on my profile!

    But Nathalie is right, a heartbeat doesn't have to be visible yet, it's also very early!

    Hi!

    I had an internal ultrasound today at 6 weeks and 4 days, and a good little heartbeat was visible!
