Hi
I have a question, I'm in the first trimester of my pregnancy and I'm constantly cold and tired, is that normal?

Thanks,
Debbie

Hi Debbi, yes, that's normal. Fatigue is very common. It usually goes away after the first trimester.

    Hi Debbie,
welcome to the forum in advance. Well, now that you mention it, I always feel super cold, sometimes so cold that I'm bundled up. I'm 7 weeks pregnant now, so I hope it passes quickly because, as you know, it's definitely not a pleasant feeling. As for fatigue, that's also the case for me; I always just feel like sleeping and sleeping and sleeping.. greetings
ps this is my third pregnancy

    Hi Debbie,

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and I'm also feeling really cold. I'm very tired, especially after work—I just want to sleep right away.

I always end up with my boyfriend calling me a crybaby because I turn on the heating since I’m always cold and tired. Pff.

Hihi, mine did that too. But in a sweet way, of course.

I’ve also been shivering a lot since I got pregnant... brrr. And still am (tomorrow I’ll be 14 weeks). A warm shower always helps me a lot. I’m naturally always cold, so I guess it’s part of the package, especially when fatigue is also playing a role.

I'm Stephanie. I stopped taking the contraceptive pill in December. Could I be pregnant? I have a weird feeling in my belly, I feel cold all day, and I fall asleep quickly.

And in the third trimester, that tiredness comes back. I'm now 36 weeks and I just get warm quickly, hehe.

I also often feel really cold. It really stood out to me.

    Me too!
Sometimes I'm completely shaking from the cold.
At night I even put on an extra sweater to stay warm. Plus a hot water bottle. The worst part is when you're in bed and finally warm, but then have to get up to pee.

Yeah sure, I was freezing too.. wanted to crawl into the heater, and was tired too.
Would sometimes fall asleep in the afternoon when I got home from work!!

I'm in week 6 and I'm also feeling cold and really tired. My breasts are sore and I have stomach cramps, but otherwise it's not too bad. Congratulations to all the ladies on your pregnancies!!

I'm super tired too. Pfff. Starting tomorrow I'm working from 6 PM to 10 PM, and I'm already dreading it. I'm wondering how I'm going to get through those work evenings.

    Heyyy expecting moms!
I'm now pregnant with my third child...
With my first two kids, I wasn't nearly as cold as I feel now!!! I'm literally freezing ^my nose/chest/legs^^everything! And back pain!
I even took a quick warm shower and trust me; it helps a bit!
But of course, be careful not to get too hot water from the tap since you're feeling cold!

So glad to read that I'm not the only one who's constantly cold and tired. I haven't slept as much as I am now since I was 25. I'm yawning all day long. I usually get cold when I'm tired anyway, so that probably isn't helping now either. I just hope it passes. It's not warm outside either, so warming up in the sun isn't an option for now. I'm about 7 weeks pregnant (first pregnancy). It's all quite exciting. I'll try a warm shower again. I'm a bit wary of the water being too hot from the tap; my skin doesn't usually like that anyway.
