Just got pregnant, who else?

Hi everyone,

I'm Maya, 30 years old, and I've known for two days that I'm pregnant with our first baby. I'm currently in week 5. It took 4 rounds to get pregnant, so I'm really happy about that. I've had a bit of a cold since yesterday, so things are a bit less fun right now... As for pregnancy symptoms, fortunately, it's not too bad. Less appetite and a little nausea, but if it stays like this, I certainly won't complain. I'm quite afraid of getting very nauseous, so I really hope that doesn't happen...

Also, some cramps, feeling more tired, and often dizzy, but those are things I don't mind at all.

Who else is around 5 weeks? It would be nice to share experiences together!

I had an appointment this morning with the OB-GYN to remove some polyps and get an ultrasound, since we’d been trying for a baby for a long time. Turns out the "polyps" were from a very early miscarriage, and guess what? I’m already 12 weeks pregnant!!!!! I’m over the moon, of course, but now I’m wondering: how come I’m not showing any pregnancy symptoms? I’m not nauseous at all, just a bit tired, and I’m going to the bathroom more often. Has anyone else experienced this? Again, I’m really happy about the pregnancy—it was unexpected, but still—I’m also a bit worried, given my weight and my age (I’m 38).

    Hi ladies,
I've had the feeling of being pregnant for a week and couldn't wait until last night to finally take a test.
I had that little feeling of "Oh, it's probably not positive anyway."

    But inside, it felt different.

I took the test and looked at it right away, and what did I see? No, that can't be so fast, a line within 10 seconds.

I put it aside for a moment, and a minute later, the pink had faded, and yes, there it was. The line!!!

This morning I took another one with morning urine, and yes, really a line.
You're probably thinking, two tests aren't necessary.
I'd want to take one every hour. I was too scared last night. This is because I had a miscarriage in January 2014 (4 weeks) and in May 2014 (6 weeks).

But I didn't test so early and so positive back then.

I would be 4 weeks today so I'm being very careful but still happy.
In 3.5 weeks, I can call the midwife for an appointment
I hope everything goes well this time.

I'm looking forward to hearing your stories and experiences in the coming months.

    Hi everyone,

I took a test yesterday and it's positive!
I didn't test really early because I totally wasn't expecting a pregnancy at all.
I only stopped the pill 1 month ago, so I haven't even had a 'normal' period yet.
Of course I'm so happy, but it also feels quite unreal.
Next Saturday I would be 5 weeks. Exciting, everyone.

And Alice, I'd also love to keep testing.
Especially just to be sure, you know.
I took another test this morning with morning urine.

I'm curious to hear your stories!!
