15 weeks and no bump yet (

Hi,

I'm exactly 15 weeks today and feeling a bit anxious. Everyone says it's weird that I don't have a belly yet, and it's true—I can't fit into my tight jeans anymore, but otherwise, you wouldn't really notice that I'm pregnant unless I'm wearing something really tight, and even then, it's not very obvious. Does anyone else not have a belly yet?

Greetings!!

Elodie

    Hey,
I also didn’t have a belly at 15 weeks. My belly only became visible at 20 weeks. So it can’t really do any harm. Trust me, once it starts, it just blows up overnight!

    Hey Elke,

Yes, I've already heard from a few people that it sometimes takes longer for the first baby, as you can see from the body shape
We're going to check out our little sprout on Wednesday, curious to see how it's grown :-)

I only weighed 55 kg when I got pregnant and now I weigh 68 kg, so no panic, the kilos will come off. But I also didn't like it when they didn't see it, because that's something to be proud of. I thought it was a pity.

Yes indeed, it's our first and yes, I'm proud of it, and you can't show it yet :s, I weighed only 47.5kg and now I'm already at 50kg but yeah, I don't see the kilos. lol

And are you now pregnant with a second or a first?

    Greetings

I'm also pregnant with my first. The pounds are definitely coming. I always thought, the less I gain, the less I'll have to lose afterward to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight ;-) And then I found that quite pleasant, of course.

    Greetings

It's totally not weird at all, especially with a first baby. I'm 17 weeks and you still can't see anything with me either. As long as your baby is growing well, there's nothing to worry about

    Hi,

No need to worry. With your first baby, it can take longer before your bump shows, often not until 20 weeks.

    Hi Elodie,

Don't worry, I only got bigger at 24 weeks with my first and started wearing maternity clothes for my second at 20-21 weeks. I gained about 12 kilos both times.

My clients who come to me for maternity wear also grow very differently. One needs maternity clothes at 8 weeks, the other not until 5 months.

In the beginning of your pregnancy it's not so nice, you want to show off your big belly. But later you'll probably get your figure back faster. Usually people with strong abdominal muscles get a bigger belly later on.

    Hi,

Yeah, it's a lot of people, well I have to go to the gynecologist on Wednesday so I hope everything is okay. I've decided to quit smoking this afternoon because I'm always scared something might happen to my baby and it's definitely not good to smoke, so I'm going to show some willpower and see if I can do it. It'll probably be a bit difficult, but I'd never forgive myself if something happened to the baby

    Lots of love

I also quit smoking, but before I got pregnant. I quit a month before we decided to stop the pill.

Hi! Yeah, same here with me. With my first, you couldn’t even see it at 6 months.

Now with my second (15 weeks), I only notice it myself in the evening because my pants are a bit tight, but otherwise nothing much.

So don’t worry about it. As long as your baby is growing well, everything’s fine.

    Hi Elodie,
I think you really don't need to worry, every woman is different.

I'm very slim, and I already found it quite strange that I started showing from 8 weeks onward.

My sisters all found it very strange because they only started showing from 20 weeks or later. My girlfriend is at the same stage of pregnancy as me, and she also has a smaller bump.

Who knows, maybe you'll suddenly get a big bump!

    Greetings

As everyone above has already pointed out, it's not weird at all!! I'm now 20 weeks and have only gained 2 kilos, and hardly any belly is visible yet.. It'll all sort itself out naturally
  14. charliedh #15

I'm almost 15 weeks now. I can already see a little tummy, but for people who don't know, it's not noticeable yet. I'm still able to wear my regular clothes. I haven't started showing for others yet.
  15. mandy #16

Hi, I had the same question at 15 weeks. It made me a bit worried too, but every woman is different; some get a bump sooner than others.
My bump only became clearly visible from 23 weeks onwards.
And I just think, what comes in must go out, haha!

18 weeks and still nothing!!!! Honestly, I think I can still wait a bit!

I'm also 15 weeks pregnant. I can no longer fit into my tight jeans, but it doesn't look like I'm pregnant. I don't really have a bump yet, or I have to wear very tight shirts, and only people who know me well can tell, but otherwise, no.

    Hi hi..

I'm 18 weeks pregnant with twins and don't have a bump either, so I don't think that's weird at all.
  19. gina Guest #20

I'm also 15 weeks pregnant now, and I don't have a bump yet either. But now that I've read here that other pregnant women don't have one either, it puts me at ease because I was starting to worry.
