Nausea is gone

Hey girls,

I'm new here and already have a question.
I'm currently 10+1 weeks pregnant. I've been feeling really nauseous and vomiting a lot since week 6. But for the past few days, I haven't been vomiting anymore and I'm not feeling nauseous at all. I had a good ultrasound at 8 weeks, but now I'm a bit worried because my nausea has disappeared. What should I make of this? Is it too early for my nausea to be gone?

Best wishes

I think usually the nausea goes away around 12 weeks, but some people have it throughout the whole pregnancy and others are done with it by 10 weeks. It certainly doesn't have to be a sign that your pregnancy isn't going well. If you're getting worried, I'd just call your midwife or OB-GYN and have them listen to the heartbeat, for example, just to put your mind at ease .

    Hey Iza

Thanks for your reply. But apparently I shouted too hard, because I had to throw up in the car that very day. Weird, but I was glad I was still feeling nauseous So I'm still nauseous here and there, but much less than in the past few weeks... It's probably gradually getting better and hopefully will completely disappear by 12 weeks, yay!

I had a panic attack like that too, right before the 8-week mark. I'd felt awful for 2 weeks and then suddenly I didn't anymore... Now I've been feeling awful again for a couple of weeks!

Yes, I've noticed now that those symptoms sometimes go away and then come back again. Last week I wasn't feeling nauseous (which I really missed), and now this week I'm seeing them again, so it's going up and down a lot. But well, it's all for a good cause anyway, right?
