From my own experience, I'd say just let it be. These are always really tiring and tricky times, but they're mostly learning moments for your little one. Once they learn to roll to one side, they'll also learn to roll back and figure it out on their own. You could use those side walls, but they can also be dangerous if they roll face-first into them.

    Thanks for your reply. Let's see how this goes. I can always switch from the bassinet to the crib later. That one is a bit wider. Made an appointment with ML today. Right now it's not a big problem. More like it's just a bit sad.
