Hi Rian.
I completely understand what you mean. I had a miscarriage in April and now I’m already feeling very uncomfortable during this pregnancy. Every little pain or anything I felt made me start thinking the worst. I have to say that when you start feeling your baby move, it gets a bit better, but the fear remains. (At least for me.)
I know it’s hard, but try not to dwell on it too much and stay positive.
If it really feels like too much, stop working altogether—your baby and you come first right now. (Try not to stress too much.)
If anything comes up or you just want to chat, feel free to let me know. Take care!

If you're feeling unsure, just go to the midwife!!! They can put you at ease!

    Hi Rian,

I completely understand how you feel. In August, I also had a miscarriage after 13 weeks. Now I'm 24 weeks pregnant, and I only started feeling more confident when the little one started kicking at 17 weeks. And now it's absolutely a wild ride—like the baby thinks I need to feel it extra for Mama. And that makes me happy.

I visited the hospital more often until week 16, just to keep my stress levels down.

I wish you lots of strength.

    Warm regards, Nicole

    Hi ladies,

Good to read that I'm not the only one feeling so insecure.

Tomorrow we have an appointment at the GP and then we'll see if we can hear the heartbeat, I'm so curious.

I'll be happy if the little one starts kicking, haha haha I'm saying that now, but by the time it happens I'll be completely wild.
@Evy, if it really doesn't work out I'll stop immediately, I've already indicated that at work.
I'm noticing now that if I work for 3 hours I fall asleep on the train on the way home.

I'll let you know tomorrow how it went with the GP.
