Pregnancy gym or yoga

I’d really like to do pregnancy gymnastics...
Do you have any experience with when/how many weeks it’s recommended and/or usual to start?

Greetings,
Wen. :-D

Hi Wen, what I've experienced is that there's a huge difference between the courses. One course I took, you could basically do throughout your whole pregnancy and it was very relaxed, but with the other one I stopped because it felt too intense and was much more real yoga.

I think as long as you feel good, you can keep doing a course, but make sure to find one that suits you well.

    Love, Anneke

    Hi Wen,

I don't have any experience with pregnancy gymnastics. But I do with yoga and swimming. I personally found yoga a bit too "out there". Swimming was really nice/relaxing though. I'm going to start again with that for my 4th pregnancy. Good luck and hope you'll find a suitable course soon. Or maybe you've already found one? Because it's April already. ;-);-)

    Thanks for the tips!
I've figured it out, prenatal yoga isn't offered in my town anymore.
But prenatal swimming is. So once I stop my lessons (I'm a fitness instructor), I'll go swimming. Not really my thing, but maybe I'll find it nice by then to still be active with sports. And more importantly: meeting other women who are also pregnant and live nearby.
I'm really curious... but I'm dreading the swimsuit a bit, haha! ;-)
