After two ICSI cycles and a total of 7 embryo transfers, I was pregnant. The first ultrasound showed no heartbeat, and I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks. We've just started the pill again for ICSI 3.

    1 punctie is 1 poging...
Exciting, how do you feel? I got pills to prepare my uterus, and I also continued taking my regular mama pills.

Manouk, most hospitals give Utrogestan after embryo transfer to support implantation.

    Hi,
We started our ICSI treatment in March. The first time, we had 7 eggs, 3 of which were good. The first embryo that was transferred unfortunately didn’t implant. About 4-6 weeks later, I had my second transfer, and the first thawing didn’t go well, so the last embryo was thawed instead, and it looked really good with 11 cells. Unfortunately, this transfer also didn’t stick. Now we’re starting the second attempt. Stay positive, everyone!

Oh, that's so sad Hope it's over soon for you! Do you know yet when you can start?

Exciting, tomorrow I'm having my transfer of a frozen embryo. Still have some left from the ICSI where my daughter was born.
Mama of 1 boy and 1 girl. Both conceived after the 2nd transfer of a frozen embryo.

Hello ladies, my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 7 years, and for the last 2 years through the hospital. I've had 6 ICSI transfers, and every time I got my period on time, so I haven't been pregnant yet. We took a year off because it's so frustrating. My husband's sperm isn't terrible, but it's not super either, and my eggs only develop when I inject a lot of hormones. We've had all kinds of tests, and nothing else is wrong. I should be able to get pregnant via ICSI. On January 26th, we're starting again at the hospital, everything from the beginning: first consultations, then the rest. I hope this round one egg will stick, but so far, none have led to a pregnancy. Who else has experience with this? I'm feeling a bit desperate.

Not sure if this thread is still active... but I wanted to share as well????
I'm now at 3 weeks and 1 day after my first IVF first transfer. It's all so nerve-wracking and the waiting days are killing me! I don't feel anything at all... and what I do feel might also be side effects from the Utrogestan... nice and confusing. Maybe it's still too early too, but that just makes you feel insecure, you know. I'm not allowed to test until the 31st... so it's pretty nerve-wracking!

I was pregnant after the first ICSI embryo transfer.

A bit of a late response, but I was also pregnant after the first transfer of ICSI.

    Hi everyone,

We’ve been trying for two years now (1 year “on our own” and 1 year in the hospital with hormone pills and later hormone injections). Nothing has worked, so we’re moving on to IVF.

We already have a daughter who I got pregnant with spontaneously and right after stopping the pill, 5 years ago. Back then I had morbid obesity and was taking heavy (pain) medication.

Now I’ve lost a lot of weight, no longer take any medication, and still can’t conceive... Irregular/absent cycles, no ovulation. Reason unknown. My partner’s sperm is “perfect” according to the hospital.

Next Wednesday I’m having the first IVF egg retrieval. I find it quite nerve-wracking. It’s especially hard to keep hope and trust in a body that doesn’t cooperate without a clear reason (while I’ve worked so hard to become healthier), a hospital that has made many mistakes, and no identifiable reason why we’re entering our third year without results. But your messages on this forum do me so much good! I really, really hope this will all be worth it!

    Kind regards,
    Linda

@linda I got pregnant on the first try with the pill but now for the 3rd time, we've been trying for over 2 years already and my 2 kids also took longer
  15. Linda Guest #35

@Elvira: How crazy is that, right? How the body works... Did they find a "reason" why it's taking longer now?
    Wishing you lots of luck

@linda my husband only has 4% good sperm, so we really got 2 little miracles My first pregnancy was with my ex and unfortunately ended in a miscarriage at 11 weeks

How sad.. And how good that it worked out after all! I'm rooting for you that it works out again soon! ????

Had this morning my first puncture. I was really dreading it, but it really went much better than expected! If this is all there is, I can handle a second and third puncture too (though of course we hope that won't be necessary ????????)

Out of the 4 large follicles and 2 small ones, 4 eggs came out. Tomorrow we'll hear how many got fertilized, and if everything goes well, we'll have the first IVF transfer on Saturday. EXCITING!!

    Here’s my experience too:
1st puncture: 15 eggs, but only 1 fertilized, which unfortunately didn’t implant.
2nd puncture: 25 eggs, 7 frozen. The fresh cycle didn’t work out, but the first frozen embryo transfer resulted in a pregnancy, and in Jan 2020 we had a little girl. Had another transfer on Aug 1 with no result, then another transfer at the end of Aug, now due on May 18 for a little boy.
We still have 4 embryos at the hospital.

My husband and I waited 4.5 years for our miracle . We tried on our own for 9 months, but unfortunately, I was diagnosed with PCOS..
We had 3 IUI attempts, one ended in a miscarriage, and 1 IVF cycle resulted in the birth of a healthy and brave boy

If all goes well, our 2nd miracle will be born in April 2022 (naturally)
