Hi everyone!

I’m now at the end of my 5th week! So far, everything is going super well.
I get occasional nausea, especially at night and in the afternoon (after eating)!
I guess the stomach pain is part of it too. From what I’ve read, most people mainly have cramps in the lower abdomen, but for me, it’s mostly in the upper right abdomen. Is that okay?
Although I feel pregnant, I still worry every day and wonder if the little one is still there. I’ve been moving and carrying heavy things a lot over the past weeks (working around the house). I think that’s not so good, right?

As long as I feel nauseous and tired, I think everything is okay!
Otherwise, I’m super happy with my pregnancy with my first little one and can’t wait for the first ultrasound: April 10th!

    Hey,

I'm in my 6th week of pregnancy today. I don't really feel nauseous, but I'm very tired and have a huge appetite :-) . I also have some lower abdominal pain, a bit of a nagging feeling. I was worried at first if this was normal, but the gynecologist reassured me. On March 18th we have the first ultrasound and I'm incredibly curious. Sometimes I'm really scared, what if the heartbeat isn't there, what if I get a miscarriage.
But still, I try to enjoy it as much as possible.

    Good luck with your pregnancies!

    Hi!

I'm 8 weeks and 3 days now! Had an ultrasound last week because we didn't know how far along we were. Luckily, we saw a beating heart! Had the intake for "Moeders voor Moeders" today. Just got a bit dizzy under the shower so I had to lie down on the bed, and had some lower abdominal cramps that are now fading. Otherwise, no issues except being really tired.

    Congratulations Danielle!

That must have been wonderful to hear that little heart beating.
And hopefully you don't have too much trouble with nausea and dizziness.
For me, it's really not bad at all, just a bit nauseous now and then, especially in the afternoon!
And like you said, the fatigue is starting to kick in a bit! At work, I always get a serious hit around 5 PM. But then I just have to grit my teeth for another hour!

    Hi hi

Yes, it was super nice! Luckily I haven't had any nausea yet. Which was really the case with the first two pregnancies haha, from week 4 until almost 9 months every morning above the toilet.
But with this one I really have the cramping of the uterus that's growing, I even have a little belly already haha. And with the boys it was only after 6 months. So this is a whole different new pregnancy! Strength with the tiredness!

    Greetings

    Nice.
So every pregnancy is different! I'm happy for you that you're having less discomfort now. I have a strangely swollen belly too. In the morning it's okay, but by evening I can't even button my pants anymore. That's promising!

    Hi everyone,

I'm now 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Last Wednesday I had my first ultrasound, but I already had a feeling it was a bit early in the pregnancy because I was actually only 5 weeks. But due to work, I had no choice. At that scan, there was no beating heart yet, which is normal for this stage. I know I shouldn't worry, I believe and trust what the gynecologist says. But you automatically start worrying anyway. My next ultrasound is on April 16th. An eternity for me. I'll only feel relieved when I see our little one's heart beating at that scan!!

As for nausea, I can't complain. In my first pregnancy, I didn't have any morning sickness. In my second pregnancy either, but I had serious diarrhea. Thank God I'm over that!! Every day I look at my little belly in the mirror. That's pretty much my status quo. I hope for a quick reply so we can chat and share more!

Thanks. I do find the first trimester a bit scary. But yeah, we just have to get through it.. not to worry too much!

    Hey aphroke.
Congratulations! That uncertainty in the first trimester is something everyone experiences a bit until their first ultrasound or until they hear that little heart beating, I think. April 16th will be here sooner than you think. Try to enjoy your pregnancy a little bit in the meantime.

    Hi everyone,

I'm exactly 10 weeks pregnant today... well, that's what we think... next week there's the 3rd ultrasound again... and this time it's the dating scan, so they'll calculate exactly how far along I am... really nice to see our little monster again. And what an impact it has on a person's life and body! Luckily, not too many complaints. I am really tired... sleeping a lot and dealing with a pretty swollen belly. This morning I spotted the first signs of a stretch mark on my belly in the mirror... enjoying it!

Hey Linda. Time really does fly by! And your body too. Just like with you, I have a huge swollen belly. In the morning it's barely there, but as soon as I eat something, my belly gets bloated immediately. I can't wait to see and hear the little one for the first time. I catch myself secretly rubbing my belly now and then and saying sweet things to it: 'hopefully you're doing well' somewhere in there. It's kind of funny then.

    Hi ladies,

How are you all? I'm doing fine, no more discomfort anywhere

Went to the midwife last Wednesday and had another scan! It was amazing, our little one was turning and moving quite a bit with arms and legs! The baby even waved haha. We'll have another scan in two weeks because the umbilical cord still looks wide, but apparently that's normal too, just to be sure. Another scan is always fun though haha.

Enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend!
    Best wishes

    Hi everyone,

We had our 12-week scan yesterday! It was such a joy to see how our little one is doing. They're growing super well, already 5 cm long and kicking quite a bit in the womb. My due date is now October 12th. That's 8 days earlier than before! In 4 weeks we'll have the anomaly scan because we want to check on the little one before the holidays... and..... the gender! Super exciting, can hardly wait!!!
