woman wants to be a co-parent

Hi there!

I’m a 34-year-old woman who loves children so much! I have a very strong desire to have kids, but after years of medical treatments, it was determined that my eggs are of poor quality, so I can only become pregnant through egg donation.

Now, the waiting lists for this are very long, and I’ve been thinking about other alternatives that I could get on board with.

So I’m looking for a (single) woman or couple who would be open to sharing the journey of having a baby and raising them with me, so I can fulfill my desire to be a mother somewhere.

I’d ideally like co-parenting with the involved mom or parents, but I’m also open to other arrangements (like, for example, every other weekend).

Everything is open to discussion for me.
I mainly want to feel like I mean something to the child, without being pushy.

If anyone is open to sharing their desire for a child with me, I would be very grateful.

For further questions or any matters, you can always email me: [email protected]

Thanks in advance,

Ruth.

    Hi Ruth,

Personally, I find it a bit of a strange request. If you're not the parent, I don't think anyone would just give you rights to their child, do you see what I mean?
Not meant to be rude though...

I'd rather look into surrogacy, have you heard of that before?
Then someone else carries your baby, and after birth, it's simply your baby.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Or is fostering an option?

How does egg donation work? And is it like stem cell donation where it has to be anonymous, or can you donate it for someone specific? I really feel for you, knowing this isn't straightforward for you! I wish everyone a sweet baby!
Anyway, wishing you lots of strength for the time ahead!
