Bleeding at 6 weeks

Hi, I'm 6 weeks pregnant now and have had bloody discharge for 4 days. It started pink, then red, and now it's brown. I called my midwife on the first day, and she's pretty casual about it, saying it's normal, but I'm really worried, of course. The bleeding has increased a bit, but it's still just drops. Has anyone else experienced this and still had a healthy pregnancy?

I had it at 5-6 weeks and it didn't work out. But a friend of mine had a lot of bleeding and everything went well. Hang in there!

I just went through this too... can't you get an ultrasound to see if everything is still okay?
    Wishing you lots of strength!

For me, it started on Sunday evening with brown blood, then on Monday it went from brown to red and stayed red all day! And the bleeding continued! However, I still have the gestational sac and my hCG levels are still rising! So now they're thinking about a blighted ovum, I'll know more!! Pull the bell if you don't feel right!

Hi! Yeah, the past few days have been really hectic. I ended up going to the ER after all because I didn't feel right. That was Monday night. They couldn't detect a pregnancy on the ultrasound and thought it might be a miscarriage, but they also didn't see anything in my ovaries. My hCG was pretty low for my stage, by the way: 537, and this morning (Wednesday) it had risen slightly to 728.
It's possible I was off by 2 weeks with my calculation, so that I only ovulated when I was supposed to get my period. They're going to test my hCG again on Feb 3rd, and then I'll know.
