Numb feeling under the ribs?

Hi ladies,
I'm 26w3d pregnant now and for the past week I've had a dull, burning feeling under my left ribs when I'm in bed. So when I lie on my left side, it starts and I have to turn to the other side, otherwise it hurts a lot and pulls towards the back of my ribs/spine. I only have discomfort when lying down, otherwise not. Does anyone have experience with this or recognize it? I'll call the midwife about it after the weekend but hope you can give me some more clarity! Thanks in advance!

It could be that there's a pinched nerve. A good option is to visit an osteopath. They can help with many pregnancy-related complaints in a very gentle way. -

Thanks Iza for the tip! I talked to my partner about it, and it got worse; now I have discomfort on the right side too. Probably due to the stretching of the muscles around the ribs and creating space. But I'll definitely keep it in mind because I'm still experiencing discomfort.
