Hi everyone,

I'm now 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant.
I've had two miscarriages before, in June and September.
I'm super happy that I'm pregnant again so soon.

But I'm really scared that it will go wrong again.
I'm also focusing a lot on my feelings.
As long as I still have symptoms and no bleeding, etc.

Do you have any tips on how to let go and "enjoy" the coming weeks?

    Hi Maartje,
    Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Unfortunately, I don't have a solution for you. But I do share the same problem. I'm currently 5 weeks and 1 day pregnant. Last time, I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks. I find it hard to enjoy this pregnancy. The first week I was nauseous, but now I'm not anymore... And just like that, the doubt creeps back in. Luckily, my breasts are still tender, which gives me some reassurance. I'm getting my first ultrasound on January 14th. I'm so scared that there won't be a heartbeat again. Oh my, this is so stressful!

Does your pregnancy feel different this time? Are you doing okay otherwise?

Unfortunately, I don't have a solution for you. But I do understand how you feel!

Congratulations to you too on your pregnancy! It's all so exciting again!

I feel different with every pregnancy. Different symptoms each time, thankfully. Unfortunately, I'm also really focused on the symptoms. I'm glad to still have sensitive breasts. But it seems like everyone shares that feeling.

The 14th week is exciting! I don't have a date set yet; maybe it's a good idea to plan that in advance. Hopefully, I'll be able to see a heartbeat then, so I'll feel more certain.

So you're also due at the end of August?

    Hi Maartje,
big congratulations on your pregnancy, girl!
Unfortunately, I know how you feel, and you'll have to get through it, girl!
After my first child, I had three miscarriages around 12 weeks, and now I'm heavily pregnant with all the stress throughout my pregnancy. Even now, the fear is still there...
We're almost there... I got to have lots and lots of extra ultrasounds from my gynecologist and received a lot of support!
You just have to get through it, try to stay as calm as possible, and still enjoy it too, girl. I can't say more!
    Wishing you lots of success,
    Greetingssss

    Hi Maartje,

Due to a late ovulation, I actually expect to be due around the beginning of September. According to the internet, it's August 28th. We'll just have to wait and see.

My husband said, "You just shouldn't stress so much." If someone could explain to me how to do that, haha.

    Best wishes!

After 3 miscarriages, now happily almost 13 weeks pregnant with our first baby...
What worked for me; don't rely on symptoms, but on pure feeling. Otherwise I would have imagined a miscarriage 100 times! This pregnancy felt different right away.. Very good listening to what your body is telling you, because that's really a lot.
It's difficult, but enjoy it! Everyone experiences it differently, but your true feeling is generally good! Dare to trust it!
You just have to get through it! Strength and; congratulations!

    Hi Maartje,
    how are you doing?
I gave birth to a big daughter on Jan 2nd and can now leave my past behind with my 3 little butterflies... I still can't believe that I now have Yoch and my daughter after all the sorrow.

I hope for everyone and for you that it also ends like this!
    Lots of love

I totally get that. I had a miscarriage in 2010 at 9 weeks. I'm currently 5 weeks and 6 days pregnant. It does feel different. I've been pregnant three times in total. With the first one, I have a beautiful 4-year-old son. With the second pregnancy, I had a little angel baby. With my first pregnancy, I felt the symptoms intensely and had very few fears. With the second one, I had a faint test result and no symptoms, but then a miscarriage after 9 weeks, and I had this weird feeling—I was constantly on edge, waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Now I'm feeling all the symptoms, and strangely enough, I'm getting a little happy when I experience them—even when I'm hanging over the toilet.

I'm learning to cope with it day by day. That's all I can do, and that's also my advice: just live one day at a time.
