experiences with blended families?

Hi there
Quick question: does anyone here have experience with blended families? I have a three-year-old son, and his biological father is no longer in the picture (due to circumstances). I’ve been dating a guy for a while now who really gets along well with my son. We’d love to have another child together, and I was curious about others’ experiences because in my circle, I only know one example, and it wasn’t really positive...

I have a blended family. I have 2 kids aged 9 and 5, and now 36 weeks pregnant with my boyfriend, whom I've been living with for 2 years. He treats my kids, who do see their father, as his own.

I also have a blended family.

During the week, we're together with our baby, and on weekends, his son and my daughter (10 and 17 years old) come to us.

Sometimes it's pretty tricky and I get a bit fed up, but on the other hand, it's going well. It's like a real family

We're both fully accepted by each other's kids, and vice versa.

Problems exist everywhere, but talking works wonders. And if your little boy gets along well with your partner and vice versa, I don't see any problems.

    Greetings, Dani

Hi ladies, we're also a blended family. I have an eight-year-old daughter whose father is no longer in the picture. I've been raising her on my own since she was a year old. My partner and I have been together for two years now, and he has a six-year-old son. Things are going really well, and we're hoping to complete our family with a baby of our own.

    I'm pregnant!
So my youngest stepson will become a big brother
He's wanted that for so long

That's so nice! Feels more complete, right?

It's sad when people carry such envy around with them... Just enjoy it; it's her lesson to learn how to deal with it.
