Friso Comfort

Hi.

Our 10-week-old son has been on Friso Comfort since Thursday because he was spitting up quite a bit. This was on the advice of the pediatrician. We're mixing it with the standard formula. Since today he's pooping a lot and it's very runny (I know runny is normal when getting used to it), but he's also not finishing his bottles anymore. Normally he had no trouble with that. Is it normal that he's pooping so much now (5 times already today)?

Also, he's very cheerful.
He's also waking up earlier than usual during the night for a feed.

I'm curious if anyone here has experience with this.

His tummy will need a little time to get used to the new food, and it can take a few days. Since he's spitting up this formula, it's probably thicker and therefore heavier on his stomach, which is why he's not finishing his bottles anymore. I'd check his stools for a bit, and if it's still not better after a few days, I'd call the pediatrician or GP. Good luck!
