I'm almost 26 weeks pregnant now and for the past two weeks I've been having incredible heartburn. Does anyone have tips? It's mostly in the evenings and I'm already lying pretty high up in my bed.

Gaviscon, Rennie, milk, and especially no more eating in the evening an hour before you go to sleep. I also had quite a lot of trouble with it, but luckily it's better now.

Drinking milk and water helped me. Definitely no cola or fruit juice.

    Good luck, Eva

For me, it helped to eat a tablespoon of oats (not prepared, just 'dry'. The oats absorb the stomach acid, so you have less discomfort.

I had so much trouble with the second one too. Then a bowl of vanilla custard did the trick. I’m glad it always worked for me.

    Good luck!

Eating a raw potato works really well too! I had the same issue with my first one and got pills from the GP... Happening again now, so annoying! Good luck!

I use Gaviscon before going to bed. It works really well.

I used Antagel during my previous pregnancies.
