pain around the groin area

Hi everyone!

My first post since I got pregnant.
I'm currently 17 weeks along and have had pain around my groin area for the past 2 days... mainly when walking...
Does anyone else have this too? And maybe know what causes it?

    Hey, congratulations on your pregnancy!
    I had that too around that time, my midwife said it was early round ligament pain. It goes away on its own, I don't have it anymore now. Just take it easy

    The little one is starting to grow nicely now...
    Is it possible that I'm only feeling it on one side? Because up until now I've only had discomfort on my right side...:-)

    Yes, those are indeed your ligaments. Your uterus is having a growth spurt right now, and your ligaments have to support that Take it easy and enjoy your growing belly

    I had it on both sides, but that naturally varies from person to person
