I'll type it out again, I've just created an account so I get a notification when someone replies:

    Hi Pam,
Have you already gotten an answer to your question? I had a similar experience.
I was supposed to get my period on Thursday, Sep 26. But on Tuesday the 24th in the evening, I suddenly got my period. I thought so. But it's dark brown, rusty blood. Now and then dark red. And then it suddenly stops. It doesn't really flow out, but when I wipe, there's some rusty color again. I'm not used to this from my "normal" period... what could this mean?

This could be an implantation bleed, mamavanj!

    Hi Anni2020
Could it be? I find it so exciting! One time it feels like a period, and the next time I think, no, this doesn't quite match... I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Thanks for your reply!

    Love

Normally I often have a lot of bleeding for 3 days, on the same regular cycle (26 to 27 days). Unfortunately, this time it feels very strange: only 3 days of very light bleeding, and my cycle is on day 24, which means it's already 2 or 3 days early. Honestly, this is my first time experiencing this, and I'm a bit worried/concerned.

Girls, if you're having your period but still test positive, there are two possibilities: either you've just had a miscarriage (bleeding and hCG is still there) or you're pregnant and it was just a period bleed or a burst vein...

    Hi everyone,
I wanted to share my story too. I had a miscarriage in December 2019, and by December 31st, everything had cleared from my uterus, so I could start trying to get pregnant again. Of course, I hope it happens soon. On January 20th, 2020, I got my period. It lasted 5 days, but it wasn’t very heavy—just normal. Now, on February 11th, 2020, I got my period again, and it seemed normal too. However, I was experiencing pregnancy symptoms, so I thought I’d take another test because I had plenty at home to test with. What do you know? There was a clear positive test result! But I’m not sure if this is possible. I had bleeding, and could this also be a miscarriage?
Has anyone experienced something like this?

    Thanks in advance,

    Can someone please help me?!
My ovulation was on March 24th, had sex on the 22nd (this was one of my most fertile days, I saw this with an ovulation test), implantation was 9 days later so April 1st. I felt that too (I think), had cramps all day. But since yesterday, April 5th, brown discharge and since today real bleeding and cramps. My expected period is normally April 8-9th. Could this still be implantation bleeding since I had a late ovulation or are these my periods?????

Sophie, if you ovulated on the 24th, you're now 13 days past. A luteal phase is usually 12-14 days, are you expecting 16/17? Seems like menstruation to me, but is it different?
  9. Sophie Guest #49

Hey Mila, I'm not really sure if the 24th was my ovulation day, but I think it was. The 21st my ovulation test showed nothing, the 22nd and 23rd it did show a smiley, and after that nothing more. So I had sex on the 22nd. On Monday, the 24th, I felt some stomach pain like it was my ovulation, and 9 days later I felt implantation cramps all day long.. I really don't get it.. why am I not pregnant? Is it maybe because I had a miscarriage the first time? I just read somewhere that after a miscarriage you can get thin uterine lining and thus an implantation that doesn't succeed..

Mila: I did have a later ovulation this time.. so does that normally mean a later implantation and implantation bleeding too? My period was supposed to start normally on April 8-9 but I already have bleeding..

I really felt pregnant too... occasional nausea, no or little appetite, heartburn, metallic taste in my mouth, emotional, headaches... I just can't understand how this could have ended in a miscarriage.

    Hi ladies, how are you??
Back from being away! In September I asked here how implantation bleeding works and whether I could have it, yes or no, etc. I wasn't pregnant then though. In January we had an appointment with the doctor and my husband was referred to give a sperm sample. On January 27th we got the results; the good news was that there was live sperm present, the bad news was that most of them were very slow or didn't move forward at all.
I thought; okay there's a chance but it will probably take a long time. We were referred to a urologist, for the following week.
The next day I had very tiny blood spots in my underwear. And then on January 30th I had a light positive test in my hands! Just like that... the appointment with the urologist was cancelled.. now I'm 30+4 weeks pregnant with a girl.
Conclusion, not focusing on it for a while and letting it go can really help your body!
Oh yes, by the way, I also had a few days of severe cramps 1 to 1.5 weeks after the housework, comparable to menstrual cramps. I thought then that I would just get my period too early.
    Good luck to you all!
    Love, mamavanj

Wow, that's so lovely to hear
  14. S Guest #54

That's what I'm wondering too. I read everywhere that it's not.
  15. Elvira #55

@anoniem is that unfortunately not just the start of your period?
  16. Anonymous Guest #56

That's what I was thinking too, it's decreasing now... just wait and see...????
  17. Anonymous Guest #57

How can you have a miscarriage between your egg and period?

It seems to me that you just got your period earlier. Happens a lot.
Really sad because you really want to get pregnant. But very normal and natural.
  18. Elvira #58

@anoniem an early miscarriage usually happens before your period, which is actually very common, but many people don't know this because they don't test in time.
  19. Elvira #59

@anoniem in a 28-day cycle they recommend starting to test on day 11 I'm now in cycle 27 for my 3rd and it also took longer with my 2 kids

Thanks for your reply, luckily I'm not the only one.
    Start testing on time..
Hopefully it'll work out quickly. For both of us!
