Yeah, unfortunately, this happens a lot. I’ve experienced it myself twice in that way. You’ll probably get another ultrasound just to be safe. Strength, dear!

Two years ago I had issues with a protruding cervical mucous membrane, which caused me to bleed quickly during intercourse and between my periods. From Sept 24 to 27 I bled minimally, and on Sept 29 I saw a faint line on my pregnancy test. The next day I did a more sensitive test, and it was positive. On Saturday, Oct 1, I had to do a big poop and then I had a lot of bleeding, but it lasted 10 minutes and then it was over. So I assumed it was a burst blood vessel in my cervix. On Monday, Oct 3, I had bleeding again during intercourse. On Tuesday I went to the GP and had to go straight to the gynecologist. The ultrasound showed a thickened uterine wall and a small cavity of about 1 cm. I had blood drawn and need to have another blood test next week to check if hCG is rising properly. She gave me a 50% chance of pregnancy. Today, Oct 5, I took the test again that I had taken first, which was so unclear, and it was mega positive. If I had miscarried on Saturday, wouldn't my hCG have stopped rising so much? I really feel like everything is still okay and the bleeding is coming from my cervix... Has anyone experienced this?

I have a question: can you get pregnant if you have sex before your period and you don't use a condom or take the pill for 2 months?
  4. s #24

    Yes, that's possible.

    Hi ladies,
I have a question: I've had two miscarriages, one after the other. Now I got my period a week early, or well, I only bled for 1.5 days (one full pad) and normally I bleed a lot more and for 4 days. My stomach feels bloated, I have lower back pain, nausea, and heartburn. It's not constipation because I can still go to the bathroom. Has anyone experienced this and turned out to be pregnant anyway? I'm waiting to test and will wait for my next period to see if it comes normally.
    Gr, Maureen

Yeah, maybe I'll just take a test after all.

Hi, I have a question. Hope for a response or that several of you have experienced this. Last Thursday I got a positive test. On Saturday I started bleeding, and my tests remain positive. Since Sunday, there are also small black pieces. My test remains positive. On Monday, I asked a midwife for help because I've never experienced this before. Next Tuesday, an ultrasound is scheduled. This is making me so worried. Have several of you had this?

If you have a clear, strong positive line that hasn’t faded, it’s probably fine. There are so many different stories out there—I understand your worries, but I also know people who bled throughout their pregnancy.

I took 2 tests, both had a second faint line, and now I'm experiencing bleeding. Is this still okay, or should I be worried?

    Hi ladies,
I was supposed to get my period on 25/04.
I got it on 23/04 from morning till evening.
Just lost some blood but more like the last day of my period, dark blood, not bright red.
24/04: got up and I hadn't lost any more blood. Nothing all day.
Just got up and now I'm spotting lightly when I pee. But more pink? Does anyone know what could cause this?
I really hope for good news, we've been trying for 2 years????
    Best, Pam

Good morning, I stopped taking the pill a bit over a month ago and then had the withdrawal bleeding, and about a week later I probably got my period. This weekend I was supposed to get my period, but yesterday a very light bleeding started and now when I wipe after peeing I only see a very light pinkish blood. I do have symptoms like hunger, digestive issues, period-like cramps, pimples, I'm suddenly sleeping better, and I have a lot of headaches... I'm actually afraid to take a test because of all the previous disappointments. What do you think? Love, x

    Hi ladies,

I've been trying for a baby for 3 months now. My last period was April 2nd, and I was due to start my period on April 29th. But on April 25th, I had dark brown discharge, then nothing for the rest of the day. The next afternoon, I had red bleeding until yesterday afternoon. Yesterday evening and today, I had no bleeding at all. When would be the best time to take a test? Am I just on my period or am I pregnant? On April 26th, when I had the red bleeding, I had quite a bit of back pain and felt quite nauseous. I took a test today, but it was negative. Has anyone else experienced this?

I took a test yesterday and it was positive. Today I took another one and it was also positive, and I’ve had some bleeding. I also had a miscarriage 3 months ago. This morning it was quite bad, but now it’s getting better. I called the midwife, who said to wait another 2 weeks for another test. I’m really stressed right now.

    Hi ladies,
I'm 23 years old and have undergone an ICSI treatment. Today is day 13 after the embryo transfer, which means I should now be 3 weeks and 6 days pregnant.
Since this morning, I've had bright red bleeding, about two pads' worth so far.
I don't have any cramps or abdominal pain. I still have pregnancy symptoms like sore breasts, headaches, and nausea.
I already called my gynecologist, and she thinks I should assume it's a miscarriage, but it seems strange to her that I haven't had any cramps.
Does anyone here have experience with this and still ended up being pregnant?
Sorry, I'm probably just looking for some reassurance somewhere...

    Hopefully, I'll get a reply.
    Best regards, Bibi

Hi hi. I just need to share my story. Last Saturday I was supposed to get my period. I have 28-day cycles. On Tuesday I still hadn't started, so I took a pregnancy test from the box I had lying around. It showed a faint line, so I was super happy! I immediately called my GP and got in touch with the midwife because I wanted info about a previous C-section. That afternoon I had some bleeding that lasted for one day (so Tuesday into Wednesday), nothing on Thursday, and on Friday I had another one (a clot) and some brown discharge, and then nothing at all. So on Saturday I took another test and it's completely negative! Can it be a miscarriage with so little blood? The midwife is calling me next week. Plus I've got quite severe lower abdominal pain. Like I'm about to get my period.

    Best wishes

    Hi ladies,

I got my period 12 days late. We had a lot of doubts and had even prepared ourselves for the possibility that I might be pregnant. Still, I got my period, which lasted 4 days. I found it so weird because I really had the feeling I was pregnant. I have a lot of cramps that haven't gone away, and I haven't had my period for 2 weeks now. The stabbing pain is mainly in my lower abdomen and back, and my buttocks, and this sometimes radiates into my legs. My gut feeling still sometimes says maybe I am pregnant after all. Just took a test and it was negative.

Does anyone have experience with this? Were you pregnant after all? Or should I have tested positive by now? I'm going crazy with uncertainty..

    Greetings, Lin

Hi Lin! Normally, you should have tested positive by now if you were pregnant two weeks ago. If your cycle is around 28 days, you might be feeling your ovulation right now!

    Hello ladies,

My last period was on June 4th.
I took a test in mid-July which turned out negative.
Another negative test at the end of July.
If I calculate the pregnancy, I would now be 10 weeks and 6 days pregnant.
I also already have a little tummy.
I'm not too worried, I'll see how it goes. It's more than welcome though.
I've already had 3 miscarriages before, so I don't even dare to stress anymore.

    Best, Soeraksha

Hi, I have a question. I don't remember everything anymore. I've had a very short period for the past month, and it was barely anything. Normally, when I'm on my period, I bleed quite heavily for the first 3 days. Last week, I think I was on my period, but this time it was different from usual. It was very short, and I noticed very little blood. Now I'm wondering, could I be pregnant because we're not using protection anymore?

    Hi Pam,
Did you already get an answer to your question? I had a similar experience.
I was supposed to get my period on Tuesday, Sep 26. But on Monday, Sep 24 in the evening, I suddenly started bleeding again. I thought it was my period. But it's dark brown, rusty blood. Sometimes dark red. And then it suddenly stops. It doesn't flow out, but when I wipe, it has a rusty color again. I'm not used to this from my own period...
