Hi Fadila, do you hear it clearly on both sides? It could also be that you're hearing your own artery. I used to hear the heartbeat in multiple spots at first too, but clearer on one side than the other. And I could hear my own heartbeat as well. Have you had an ultrasound yet where you could see if it's twins?

    First of all, congratulations!

    I've never done it, and my opinion is that I personally don't recommend it; you can indeed feel the heartbeat for a pulse, and imagine if you don't find the heartbeat right away—panic.

    From around 20 weeks, you can feel your baby.

    I'll definitely wait until the first ultrasound anyway. Have fun and good luck with your pregnancy. When do you have your ultrasound?

    I'll look forward to it and not use it too often, as it's said that's not very good for the baby. And the answer to your question is that the baby moves around so you can hear it both on the right and left side.
