Hi Mama2012 (nice name haha). We're expecting our little miracle on September 1st. That's exactly on my birthday!

    Love, Katinka

That's so nice of you on your own birthday.
We're expecting our little one on September 3rd, and I'm turning 8 on September 8th.

We are 7 weeks pregnant today (28.03.2012) and going to our first ultrasound tomorrow!!! This is my 3rd child. My other children are 17 and 13 years old!! I come from South Africa and have been living in the Netherlands for 1 year, so this is my first child with my Dutch boyfriend (his first). I am 42 years old and he is 40. Everything happened naturally and we are so happy!!

We're also due at the end of August/beginning of September, and it's our first one, so it's super exciting!

I'm due on Sept 2nd and tomorrow I have my first appointment with the VK.
As for complaints, I'm mainly struggling with fatigue and sore breasts. Otherwise, I eat everything that's loose and solid, even though I've had a gastric bypass and can't really eat much.

    Love, Wilma

    Hey ladies,
I have my first appointment with the midwife on Monday.
I'm quite nervous, first baby and all.
I'm curious if there are any ladies between 20-35 years old from Amsterdam who are around 8 weeks pregnant.

I'm lucky enough to say I haven't woken up nauseous yet. Though I do have some heartburn, which I'm familiar with (chronic gastritis).

But for the second week now, I've had a really bloated feeling, a tight, round belly, sore breasts, and terrible cramps (I've always had a lot of period pain).

Anyway, wishing everyone a wonderful pregnancy.

I was due on September 1st. The midwife said it could still change... but we'll see at the next appointment, I guess.
This is our second child and I already feel like this pregnancy is different from my first. I'm quite often nauseous, well, more like a feeling of fullness in my belly:lost: Also had to vomit a few times, but that was in the beginning. Not such a burden now.

Exactly 7 weeks pregnant today. Due date is September 14th. From today on, the nausea is much worse than last week. When I eat something, it temporarily goes away, which is really nice. I'm especially sensitive to sweet smells—they're 100% amplified compared to ever before. Detergent, shower products, soaps, and perfume... they all smell the same and really, really bad. We're expecting our first baby, I'm 38 years old, and so very happy about it. Next Tuesday I'm getting an early ultrasound. Very exciting! Greetings, Bobbi

    Congratulations Bobbi,

    Exciting!
Is there a special reason for an early ultrasound?
I hope everything goes well for you.

I was due on Sept 2. I've already had 2 bleedings and now I'm super stressed... also 3 months. Sigh
