Telling tonight, super nervous

tonight my husband and I are going to tell my parents that I'm pregnant.
I always thought I'd be jumping around happy all day, but now that the moment is getting closer, I'm getting really nervous about their reaction and how real it's becoming, and I'm actually quite scared now.
How did you handle it? Were you nervous too, or just happy?

I was super nervous and scared haha! My boyfriend and I hadn't been living together for very long, and he's 12 years older than me (I'm 23). Luckily, they both really liked my boyfriend. My parents have been separated for a year and a half now, so I had to tell them twice! I was mostly worried about my dad's reaction, but they both reacted very nicely and happily; my dad even had to cry! After the divorce, the bond with my parents had become a bit weaker, but after this news, it was completely restored! I gave birth in June to a little boy, and they are both super happy and proud, and they're walking through the door non-stop! So my experience is that you worry a lot, but it's not that bad after all! Good luck! And let me know how it went!
