Pregnant and reflux

AnonymousGuest ·
Just found out I'm pregnant :-)
I'm very sensitive to reflux, which was also diagnosed in the past through a test.
Right now, I can barely eat anything—everything sits heavily in my stomach immediately.
I can't take my usual medication because of the pregnancy, so I'm trying to manage with home remedies.
Does anyone here have experience with this or any tips?

    Congratulations! That's lovely!
Eating less fat, milk, and vanilla yogurt helped a lot with the heartburn.
I've had liters of milk going down.
Wishing you a good pregnancy from here on out.

Haven't tried milk yet, currently feel like everything sits heavy on my stomach. Apples help right away. Did this feeling last long for you?

    Hey anonymous

First of all, big congratulations on your pregnancy,

Most women experience a lot of reflux from the second trimester! I wish you lots of strength!

I know there's a syrup for reflux that pregnant women can take, and if I'm not mistaken, it's called Gaviscon. I don't know if it has the same name in the Netherlands, but ask your pharmacist.

    Milk also helped me

    Lots of love
