My daughter is 17 weeks old and already rolls from her back to her tummy since she was 15 weeks. I find this pretty fast, is this normal?
She is now 67 cm and 6kg 700. According to the child and family doctor, she is way too big for 17 weeks, but she was 54 cm at birth. She eats well and is very active. She doesn't sleep during the day, but makes up for it at night by sleeping for 13 hours. Is she really too big for her 17 weeks?

The local family center always criticizes size, development, etc. If your child is on the taller side but her weight is in line, there's nothing to worry about. She's only seventeen weeks!! This can change so much in the coming weeks. As for development, I'm not sure if she's very fast or not, but as long as you're not pushing her to do things and she's enjoying it, there's nothing to worry about, right? Just enjoy her and encourage her where needed

Oh wow, girl.. every child is different!!
Our girl rolled from back to tummy and tummy to back at 3 months, so just like yours...
With us, she's always too light and too small blah blah.. she went today and it's the same again, too light and too small! 6.580kg and 65cm tall... well she was born at 2.930kg and 49cm so not exactly big either and now she's already sitting independently at 5 months... I was told today that she's too small and light which we're used to, but that her motor skills are progressing really fast! Because she can already wave dada and when I sing the song "handjes draaien" she moves her hands...she's also eating bread slices and such, so in terms of motor skills and eating she's way ahead... well those ladies at the health center always have something to complain about! It goes in one ear and out the other! You as a mom know whether your child feels good or not, and whether they're big or small, they all get there at their own pace!!!
Be proud of such a big girl like yours! We are here too...

    Love
