normal length and weight?

Hi,
I had my ultrasound at 20 weeks and 4 days, but I'm a bit worried about my baby's length and weight. I think it might be too little. My baby measures about 19 cm and weighs 296 grams. Is that a normal length and weight?

The length and weight of babies can vary quite a bit. You don't need to worry unless the doctors do, and they'll let you know if something's off because they'll ask you to come in for extra check-ups. Otherwise, your baby is growing nicely within the normal range. Enjoy your pregnancy!

It's not like your baby should already have half the weight/length halfway through the pregnancy. The big growth spurt is still to come. Suddenly it'll go really fast, I think from 30 weeks onwards.

    Hi,

Indeed, every baby is different. Our girl was 25 cm and weighed 340g at 20 weeks. What did your gynecologist say? The gynecologist usually tells you after your check-up if everything is okay, right? You probably don't need to worry.

Every baby has growth spurts, and even in the womb up to 12 weeks, everyone is practically on the same track, and then everyone goes their own way..
My son was 3 weeks ahead of the growth curve at 28 weeks, but was eventually born at 39.4 weeks with a weight of 3180 grams and +- 50 cm.
