Anyone has an idea???

Pff what a day, I hope someone can give me some clarification.
I was supposed to get my period on May 28th, it didn't come and I tested with a Kruidvat test which showed a faint line. Yesterday I went to buy a Clearblue test, the digital one, and I used it yesterday afternoon just to check. Suddenly it said Pregnant. I was naturally very happy but kept in the back of my mind that it's still very early and could end that way. This morning I woke up and wanted to test again just to be sure, but this time it didn't say pregnant I'm disappointed but I haven't had any bleeding yet. What is going on!! My GP says I should wait and see if bleeding occurs or not, but is there anyone who can tell me more about this?

It depends on what your GP says. Otherwise, try testing again soon. Did you drink a lot last night? That might mean there wasn't enough hCG in your urine this morning.
Everyone feels uncertain in such an early stage. Everything could still turn out fine.
Otherwise, drink a bit less this afternoon and try again tonight. With my first pregnancy, the tests were positive during the day and in the evening. I tested again the next morning, but there was barely anything visible. Now she’s healthy and sitting next to me at age 3
Wishing you lots of luck, and don’t let yourself get too worked up.

    Hi Mamavan2

Hmm, not extremely much, I think I drank a quarter to half a liter from the test until going to sleep.
I did sleep very restlessly, but I don't know if that could be related.
Fortunately, I have plenty of distractions. I work at a daycare, so I'll be going back to work soon and tomorrow until 9 pm, and on Saturday I'm going shopping with a friend at Primark in Germany, so if there's still no period by then, I'll test again on Sunday or Monday.
Of course, I hope everything is okay. If not, we'll have to try harder again. This would be my first pregnancy, and I only stopped the pill 3 months ago, so everything is quite nerve-wracking! But I'll definitely try not to drive myself crazy Thanks for your reply.

    Best wishes!

Lindsay, I think you're right that mamavan2 is correct and you should wait a bit and do another test in the morning, or drink a bit less, indeed.
Didn't your GP do another test for you??
I think I tested 5 times at the beginning. Hihi a pregnant woman does strange things. But I did have bleeding and I'm now almost 38 weeks pregnant, so even if you do have some bleeding, don't panic right away!!

No haha, I was just kind of brushed off by the assistant, so yeah, I would have preferred if they had done a blood test or something. But anyway, it's just a matter of waiting and it's exciting, especially because this is our first baby! 5x positive? Or different? The only thing I do feel from time to time is stabs on the left and right towards my groin. Pff, it's a bit of a thing haha, wanting to get pregnant! But in the end, if all goes well, you'll get something beautiful in return.

Yes, 5 times positive and happy. But every time I was absolutely terrified. Even the last time with MoedersvoorMoeders I was super nervous, even though I already had all the usual pregnancy symptoms.

Hahaha I know exactly how you feel. It's our first one too, and at first you think "great!! We're going to try for a baby". Well, I didn't find it fun at all! Every month with all the tension!

But apart from your GP! I just asked for it and he didn't think it was necessary, but to reassure me he was happy to do a test.

Yeah, indeed. Well, there's nothing else to do but wait unfortunately... Haha well, starting after your period is fun until a few days before your next period, then it's not so fun anymore haha... But for you, it's almost over? Sounds lovely to be walking around at the end, you'll be able to enjoy those little ones soon!

Hihi yes indeed, it's still going okay in between.. Until you start waiting for your period again! But I'm keeping an eye on you and hoping you're pregnant!! Who knows, it might still be super early he...
I'm at the end yes.. From my side it can come today. From 37 weeks of pregnancy it really feels like counting down to your period! You don't know when it's coming. Except now you also have people constantly asking if something's wrong!
