When are you going to tell your parents?

Hi ladies, when do you tell your parents? As soon as possible or do you wait until the first ultrasound or until you can see it?

    I think we told our parents after 2 weeks already. We thought that was nice. Haha you should have seen that look :-)

    I called my parents right away too when I took the test! They were so happy!

    My mom guessed it, but we only told everyone after 11 weeks and the good ultrasound.

    Hello ladies,

    For us, it was at least as much of a surprise as it was for the outside world, haha. Totally unexpected & totally wanted, I was pregnant. Yes, the test really showed it. So then we called the midwife and made an appointment. After that first ultrasound, we really wanted to share this special news with the rest of the world. But we're both so old-fashioned that we informed our parents and siblings first, and only then the rest.

    So after the first appointment with the midwife, we went to inform our parents, brothers and sisters & yes, it was just as big a surprise for them as it was for us (and still is)

    But well, everyone takes their own moment for it....

    We told everyone right after the test. We were so happy and surprised—we just HAD to tell them

    With the first pregnancy, I went straight to the test right away, with the second and third I waited until around 12 weeks, and now I went straight to the test again right after the test.

    We told everyone at 8-9 weeks! We wanted to wait until 12 weeks (less chance of something going wrong then), but yeah, we came back from vacation and it was already visible (thanks to the good food too)... So we told them early

    We told our parents the day after the positive test.
    We'll tell our daughter after the first ultrasound next Thursday, then I'll be 8 weeks + 2 days pregnant.
