Pregnancy symptoms suddenly disappeared, it's making me worried!

Hi everyone,
I found out yesterday that I'm pregnant (positive test). I was two days late and had all sorts of symptoms like cramps near my pubic bone and tender breasts.
This morning I woke up with some cramps, but my breasts were already less sore, and since this afternoon I've had no symptoms at all—no cramps and no sore breasts anymore.
As you can imagine, I'm worried that this might be a miscarriage... but hopefully I'm wrong and this is completely normal. Does anyone else here recognize this?

So basically, there were symptoms at first, and now they've suddenly disappeared.

Thanks so much for your responses.

Best wishes,
Mommy to be

    heyhey mommy to be
I understand this makes you feel really insecure... it's so scary when your symptoms suddenly disappear..
Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with this.

The ultrasound can't see much yet because you're still so early in your pregnancy...
I think it varies from person to person when it comes to symptoms.. some feel nothing at all.
And there could also be nothing wrong. Let's wait and see.. maybe your symptoms will come back.
Good luck, hopefully everything is okay.

    Thanks for your response, Charlotje,
It’s indeed very scary and the doctor can’t really do anything about it either. Patience is all I can do.

Maybe a bit over the top to post here right away, but I’ve been trying to get pregnant for a while now and was even happy with the cramps and stuff... Now I’m even looking forward to the nausea and such (yeah, I know ) So that says enough.
Hopefully I’m worrying for nothing and wake up tomorrow with very sensitive breasts and all...
    Greetings

The message above was from me, mommy to be.
(I guess I still need to get used to this forum)

Nope, not at all exaggerated! That's exactly what these forums are for. A lot of women feel insecure and want to share that, which is so nice!

I also feel that if I don't have cramps for a day, I'd really miss them! When I'm nauseous, it's awful, but when I'm not, I feel insecure again... so silly! But insecurity is part of it all: in the beginning of your pregnancy, in the middle, at the end, and even after your baby is born, there will still be some insecurity. So it's always there, really.

Hope everything is totally fine! Enjoy your pregnancy!

    Hey mom-to-be,
Your doctor can't really do much about it and I can't promise you anything either, of course.
But maybe it'll reassure you that I was sick at first, but then one day I had a whole week with absolutely no symptoms and even had some bleeding. But there was nothing wrong. The nausea came back double and triple the next week and I had all the usual complaints. I'm now 34 weeks along and have a textbook pregnancy.
So try not to worry too much. I don't think it means much.
Hehe I hope all the misery is spared for you and that you can enjoy your pregnancy without any complaints, because enjoying it isn't really there when you're suffering .
Congratulations on your pregnancy and keep us posted!
    Love, Molly

    Hi everyone,

First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy. I understand your worry, mom-to-be. I feel the same way. I have my first ultrasound tomorrow and I'm so scared that something might be wrong. My husband always tells me not to stress so much. But as soon as I'm not feeling nauseous or tired, I immediately think something is wrong. But not all women have the same symptoms. I don't get really nauseous, but I often feel a bit weird in my stomach and can eat much less. I really have to eat small portions, and I suddenly find things that I always loved tasting bad. Maybe you could call your midwife for an ultrasound at 6 to 7 weeks, so you can feel a bit more reassured.

    Love, Marjolijn.
