    Hi Jaimy,

in 3 days it's your NOD, I'm curious.

Are you secretly a bit nervous or are you not thinking about it at all?
I try to think about it as little as possible, that's probably better.

    Hopefully you're pregnant!

    Greetings x

    Hi Samantha,

Yeah, it’s so exciting, right! But I have this feeling that I’m going to get my period, and I don’t want that!
I know I shouldn’t really be thinking about it, but you just can’t help yourself, right?

    Greetings

    Hi Jaimy.

Yeah, that's right, you naturally think about it so you don't get disappointed, but if you find out you're not pregnant after all, it's still a bummer.

Hopefully it's not as bad as you think and you are pregnant.

Let me know if you hear anything, I'm quite curious.

    Greetings x

    Hi Samantha,

Yeah, I think about it every day and night, but you know, I know I shouldn't because if I do get my period, I'll be really disappointed. But yeah. Positive thinking and hoping I'm pregnant.

    How about you?

    Greetings

    Hi Jaimy.

Yeah, I get what you mean. It's always in your head, and you don't want to focus on it, but it happens on its own.

I hope you stay positive and that you're pregnant too.

Things are going well for me as well. I'm just waiting... my period isn't here yet, and I'm almost in my fertile window. But it's definitely on my mind.

For me, this is only the first cycle and the first month off the pill, and I'm probably still "detoxing" from it, so I shouldn't expect much yet. But since I have absolutely no patience, everything feels so long. That's why I'm glad I have this forum. My family doesn't know I've stopped the pill; it's annoying having to say every time that I'm not pregnant yet. So only my boyfriend knows, and two friends. One friend is pregnant, and the other... well, she wants to get pregnant but also doesn't want to, so I don't say too much to her hehe (not meant to be rude, though). My boyfriend doesn't really want to get too involved either, so he doesn't get disappointed. So yeah, this forum is nice to type your feelings out. My boyfriend understands me, but not everything—some things you really need to discuss with other women hehe.

    Greetings x

    Hi Samantha,

We're trying to stay positive, okay? .

So, if you're almost in your fertile window, you should go for it full-on soon! .

Ah, is this your first round? I didn't know that. I really hope you get pregnant quickly too, girl. The first one usually happens faster than the second, right?
We were trying for 7 months when I got pregnant, and then I had an ectopic pregnancy. So I'm actually curious how long it'll take for me to get pregnant again? We really, really want a baby. Everyone in our friend group is pregnant or already has a kid, and when I see their photos, yeah, it gets to me, because then I think, why isn't it working for us... you know?
And we can't always go for it because my boyfriend is a pastry chef. He works nights, so when he gets home he's exhausted, and it doesn't happen. So we can usually only go for it on Sundays, and I find that kind of silly sometimes! Because I tell him, if you want a baby, you should make an effort, you know? But yeah. It'll work out, right?

Where are you from, by the way? I'm from Aalst: East Flanders.

    Love, girl xx

    Hi Jaimy,

Yeah, this is my first round so I find it really nerve-wracking, and yeah, for some it goes fast and for others it takes a long time.
I think I'm also in my "unpeeling" phase right now.

Yeah, that's pretty rough. Do you often think back to your first pregnancy?
How did you actually cope with it? Because yeah, it's something you have to process. You really want a baby, you're finally pregnant after 7 months, and then you get an ectopic pregnancy.
I understand that you're nervous and wondering when you'll be pregnant again. I wish I could tell you, but sorry, I can't haha.

Yeah, true. I live in an environment where a lot of people are pregnant or have just had a baby, and then I sometimes have those thoughts too, but yeah, I'm just starting out. I find it quite nice and cozy though. You see it that way, and then I sometimes think I wouldn't do it like that, but then hahah and you learn things, I think.

And I understand your reaction that you find it stupid to only do it on Sundays. You naturally want to do it on your most fertile days, but that's not always possible in your case, and I think that's really a pity for you. And indeed, I would have given that reaction too. You can't do it alone; you really need your partner for that hihi.

But I know it'll be okay.

I'm from the Netherlands (you probably already noticed from my typing haha) Tilburg-North Brabant.

    Best,

    Hi Samantha,

Yeah, sometimes I do look back on the pregnancy because I’m really scared about getting pregnant again, you know? There’s a 15% chance I could get pregnant again. You can say “what’s 15%?” but for me, it’s pretty daunting. I’ll be so happy if I get pregnant and if the OB says everything is fine and the baby is doing well, really! I’ve processed it, but sometimes that insecurity pops up.

When I see a baby like that or something, I just feel like grrrr inside, you know? Haha

I already know I can get pregnant, so yeah, that’s good. But everything will work out in the end, right? With time, haha!

I’m glad to be on this forum because I can chat with other girls, which is nice.

Let’s hope we both get pregnant soon and can hold a beautiful baby in our arms!

    Greetings,

    x

    Hi Jaimy,

Yeah, I get it, or rather, I can imagine how you feel. And yeah, I understand you're scared about that. Luckily, the gynecologist said you can still get pregnant, and hopefully, you'll be soon and have a healthy baby.

Have you still not seen your period? I hope he stays away haha.

Yeah, it's nice to be able to talk like this and share your feelings without someone saying "yeah, that won't work." At first, I thought it was weird that I already wanted a baby, because usually women are older, and if it's at our age, the baby is often unplanned.

I hope we can talk together about pregnancy and babies soon.

    Greetings x
  10. JaimyLiebrecht #30

    Hi Samantha,

Yes, let's hope we get a healthy baby.
Yes, the MS are still not there! Whiee. Hope they stay away hehe.

You shouldn't mind that you're young, okay? Yeah, young, we're not 16 anymore either, right. So yeah, nobody should mind it, we just want to be young moms, right. When I had an ectopic pregnancy, they didn't know anything at work either. When I was in the clinic and home for two weeks due to surgery, I had to tell them, and they just avoided it, well, that's our choice, right. Nobody should bother them about it. When we're ready, we just have to do this.

I also hope we can talk about our pregnancies and kids later on, hehe.

    Are you doing okay?
    What are you doing today?

    Greetings

    Hi Jaimy,

Yeah, you're right. We're not teenagers anymore, it's our choice, and I feel good about it. I think some people might be shocked at first, but they'll get used to it after a while.

I enjoyed the sunshine today, and tonight I'm going out for dinner.

What did you do today? And what do you do for work? Or did I already ask that?

    Love, x

    Hi Samantha,

Well said. As long as you're happy!

I went shopping today and visited the open day at our former school. I work at an office where a newspaper is printed. I have to process the types and/or type them up and format them for publication in the newspaper. Really fun work.

What do you do for work?

    Greetings

    Hi Jaimy,

    Oh that's nice to do!
Yes, I'm very happy with my boyfriend.

I work as a cleaner, not the ideal job but that'll come later. Or well, I'll see how it goes.

Oh so you also had a nice day, still no period?
    Greetings

    Hi Samantha,

I'm so happy that you're so happy with your boyfriend.

Yeah, it's a good job for now, right? But when you're pregnant, you'll see, hehe Everything will work out.

Nope, still no period!! So exciting. Let's hope!

    Don't you have Facebook?

    Greetings

    Hi Jaimy,

haha yeah, I’ve also not always had the best friends hahaha.

Yeah, I could actually keep working. If you have a baby and work full-time, you usually have to cut back, right? Most women do that. Since I already work part-time (day and night shifts), I could still work nights when I have a baby, so my partner can be with the baby then. During the day, I’d be with the baby and my partner would be at work, so we wouldn’t need to look for childcare.

My partner works full-time, and yeah, financially it would mostly come down to him since I wouldn’t earn enough to live on. But I do have some savings to chip in and pay for things. Working means I’m not home all day and I’m busy, which feels good. And when the little one starts school, I can always look into more work or further education, though I don’t think I’ll go back to school myself. I don’t really enjoy going to school; I never really had that experience, and it has nothing to do with wanting kids.

OOH EXCITING!!!! That you still don’t have your period yet. Hopefully, he stays away hahaha. It’s weird actually. You used to always want your period because you were afraid you were pregnant, and now you want to be pregnant and don’t want your period, and then you get your period haha.

Sometimes I wish I could just stop those thoughts or put them aside. I’ve never felt this way before, but I think about it constantly. And the craziest part is that everyone around me is pregnant or has just had a baby. Even people you see walking on the street haha. It’s seriously not normal. Or maybe I’m just noticing it more now, but I don’t know haha.

Yeah, I have Facebook, but no one there knows about my desire for kids (especially not family, etc.).

    How are you doing?
Did you do any further education?
Do you already have baby names in mind? haha silly, but yes, I do. I don’t know why haha.
Sometimes I also look at baby nurseries. I don’t know why, but I just find it nice, and I get some ideas sometimes, haha you never know.

    Greetings x

    Hi Samantha,

Yeah, I get your story. I work 38 hours from Monday to Friday. And Friday is only a half-day, so that's nice, and my boyfriend is home on Monday. And if we were to have a baby, my mom would take a year of career break to look after the baby, isn't that sweet!

I also find it nice that I still don't have my period! So exciting, really, omg. Every time I go to the toilet, I'm tense. And if I don't see any blood, I do a little happy dance right away, hehe . So funny!

Yeah, I think about it all the time, about getting pregnant. I know I shouldn't do that, but indirectly you do it anyway, omg. And really, everywhere you see pregnant women, it's annoying... But well, either we all just think it's fine, hehe.

Everything's fine with me though. I came home from school and started working right away, so that's nice.
Yeah, we already have 3 names for a girl and 1 for a boy, hehe.
Yeah, those nurseries are really nice, omg.

    Good evening.

    Greetings

    Hi Jaimy.

Haha yes, that's really sweet of your mom. Does your family know about your wish for kids?

Haha I don't know you but I can already picture you secretly doing a little happy dance haha, I would too!!!

Yeah, it's really annoying that everyone's pregnant, but I do wish them well haha, or well, the people I know haha.

Haha what names do you have in mind if I may ask?

The rooms are really cute, yes, and beautiful.

Wishing you well in advance and have a nice evening.

Greetings x (ps you can add me on Facebook but don't tell anyone about being pregnant or anything hahaha)
  18. JaimyLiebrecht #38

    Hi Samantha,

Yes, my family knows about it. At first, only my parents, but when I had an ectopic pregnancy, I was in the clinic, so yeah, I had to tell them, but yeah.

Hihi, our little dance of joy hehe .

I'll tell you the names sometime, but not on this forum hehe.

    What's your name on Facebook?

    Greetings

    xx
  19. samantha20 started this #39

    Hi Jaimy,

Yeah, I get that you had to tell them back then.

How are you doing? Do you still not have any news?

I'll send you a private message on my Facebook.

    Greetings x

    Hi girl,

Okay, if I get your invitation I'll accept it.
    Nope, still no MS. Blessed!!

    Greetings

    X
