Feeding bread to a baby 7-8 months old

Hi ladies,

My little man refuses to eat bread. Is this a problem?
CB advises starting with bread from 6-7 months.

Tygo does have breakfast porridge made from fine grains in the morning, and I'm now gradually introducing whole grain porridge (due to sensitive tummies, I'm building it up slowly).

The CB, I spontaneously get a rash when I think about them.

I wouldn't worry too much. Bread contains some nutrients your baby can use, but if he doesn't want it yet, just wait a little while. Besides, you can easily compensate for that with whole grain bread. Some babies start eating bread a bit earlier than others. That's how it goes.

I've just started offering bread too. He's not really eating it well yet hahaha Lots of gagging anyway. But if I understood correctly, they just need to get used to it (it's an unfamiliar texture, of course).
I sometimes dip the bread in warm milk to soften it a bit. That way he can get used to it slowly.
I keep offering it, as much as he wants, and then I give him the bottle afterwards.

    Hi

Our daughter has been eating bread since she was 5.5 months old. She actually eats pretty much everything already, she's 8.5 months old now. Egg pancakes, bread, breakfast cookies. Cheese, sausage, name it. But every baby is different, of course. I'd say just keep offering it. And then it'll probably get better after a while. And don't listen too much to the child health clinic (cb). They only have averages for everything, and every baby doesn't have to meet those standards. Love,

Our girl has been eating sandwiches since she was 6 months old. We started trying it 2 days ago, but she wanted more pretty quickly, and within a week she was already having 2 slices of bread twice a day. Without crusts. You can tell pretty quickly if your baby is ready for it. Our girl is a fast eater She was already on 4 bottles instead of 5 at 4 months, and half a jar of veggies and half a jar of fruit. In exchange for one bottle feeding.
