But one person says it's best to do it every other day.
Another says 3 days in a row, and someone else says 2-3 times a week.
Not really sure what I should do now :$

Haha, whatever feels best for you. If it works, it works; otherwise, it doesn't. Those sperm cells can survive for quite a long time, right!

Hope it stays fun, the sperm can survive in the uterus for up to 3 days.

Yesss and you know, if it's good, you roughly know when the leap is?! Anyway, I got pregnant on a day we didn't have sex! So it's just a bit of luck. Hehe, I'm curious, I could test after 2 weeks (after a lot of vomiting etc.), and I already had a positive test!!! And every day the test got darker!
  5. manuela93 #25

    Of course it stays fun!
  6. manuela93 #26

And which test was that, if I may ask?

I think the best ones are from Kruidvat!!
    They’re white, and I think it’s 2 for 10 euros, and I had a few haha.

    Greetings!!

Okay, because I read a lot on the forums of this site that many people use the Kruidvat 2v5 test. So honestly, I was thinking about that one.
    Don't know what's best.

Yeah, Kruidvat is totally fine! But with the 2-for-10 deal, I already had a positive test before I was supposed to get my period, so yeah, I stuck with that one! And with my first pregnancy, I used Clear Blue, but it took forever to show color and wasn't very clear!

    Grr
  10. manuela93 #30

Well, that's clear then! I'll definitely go for the 2-for-10 test too! xx
  11. manuela93 #31

How many days before your period did you test?
  12. Sarah #32

Umm yeah, almost a week!! Then the little plus sign is still very faint, but it gets darker every day because the hCG hormone doubles after a while! But I think I just got lucky, you can always wait until the day you're really supposed to get your period! I took the test because I had been vomiting for a few days and wasn't thinking about pregnancy at all, I thought it was a stomach bug, but I was so sick from the pregnancy, super happy.
  13. manuela93 #33

    Yes, indeed.
I'll definitely take that test on the day I should normally get my period. And I'll take the second test a few days later just to be sure Well, that's still a bit away. Waiting feels so long.. hihi.

Long time no see! I had a miscarriage in September and we really wanted to get pregnant after that, and we did in December!! And now I'm 18 weeks pregnant. When you're pregnant, time flies, but almost no one gets pregnant on the first try. I stopped the pill in February 2012 and didn't get pregnant until August, so yeah, it's just a matter of waiting and days can turn into weeks indeed! But it's also exciting, right? Hihi
