above the blankets

I had a question, my 5-month-old son pushes himself up in his crib, even when he's wearing a sleep sack. Any tips for later on, because he wakes up from it..

We’re not exactly sitting on our hands either. What works for us is either a thicker sleeping bag (so no blanket is needed) or using a larger blanket that you tuck in at the sides and underneath, but not too tightly, so he can roll/move without pulling it off. Luckily, it’s getting warmer next week, so hopefully he won’t need the blanket anymore

You can always tuck the bottom part of the bedroom under the mattress, (just like you make a bed)

I used sleep sacks for both my daughters until they were 7 months old. At least I knew they were nice and warm. And for both of them, I also used hot water bottles, which I placed at the foot of the bed since they were both born in winter.

    Hey Lynn,

Rowan keeps crawling upside down in his bed with his head under the covers (sooo tight) and now I’ve taken the blanket out on the advice of the health center! They say that now a nice thick sleep sack with a warm sweater is still good. If he does it again in winter, get a padded sleep sack!

    Greetings
