I'm now 4 days late.
Tested negative this morning (Kruidvat test, 2 for 5 euros).
Unfortunately, still waiting to see.
We've just started a process at the hospital's fertility clinic.
The next step was a follow-up ultrasound on day 3 of your period.
And my husband has to submit a sperm sample this week.
The ultrasound is being put on hold for now since there's still no sign of a period :S -

Hi ladies.
I was supposed to get my period on Sunday, but I'm now 3 days late.
My cycle is usually always 28 days, and I haven't gotten my period yet.
Last week I already took a test because I had suspicions due to the fact that my breasts are very sensitive and I've been feeling very nauseous for a few days now. I haven't dared to take another test yet.
What do you recommend: should I wait or take another test tomorrow morning?
My stomach has also been acting really weird these last few days.
I can't even stand pressure on my stomach or lying on my stomach anymore, unfortunately. -

And have you taken another test yet, Sereeta? -

Hi ladies.
I have a regular 28-day cycle.
I was supposed to get my period last Wednesday.
But I didn't. I did have regular period cramps though.
Tested a few times last week, and negative. This morning with first morning urine also negative.
Now I don't have period cramps either.
I do have a bloated belly, which I also get when I'm about to get my period. Sometimes with waves of nausea.
Can I really be pregnant? Or is my body playing tricks on me?
Greetings -

Hi ladies,
I have a regular 28-day cycle.
I was supposed to get my period last Wednesday.
But I didn't. I did have regular menstrual cramps though.
Tested a few times last week, and all negative. Tested again this morning with first morning urine, also negative.
Now I don't have menstrual cramps anymore either.
I do have a bloated belly, which I also get when I'm about to get my period. Sometimes I feel nauseous in waves.
Can I really be pregnant? Or is my body playing tricks on me?

We're quite a bit further along now.
Status update since I was last online on this forum.
Tests at the fertility clinic showed that I'm incredibly fertile.
My irregularity has nothing to do with my fertility. That's a positive thing.
But unfortunately, it also turned out that my husband doesn't have optimal sperm.
His sperm isn't motile enough. Out of 2.5 million, only about 300,000 are active.
Now, you only need 1 active sperm cell, but it's still not that easy.
We've started with IUI treatments. That's artificial insemination into the uterus.
I've had 2 treatments so far, with no result. At least, that's what I think. My period is due this Friday.
After 3 treatments, we'll move on to IVF or ICSI. I think the latter, because you also need quite a few sperm cells for IVF.
We're keeping our hopes up.
IVF or ICSI is the last treatment available for our problem. -

Hi there,
I'm now 10 days late. I did tests from Action; one gave me a sort of second light pink line, but it could also have been seen as a kind of smudge. And another test showed a visible line but no color. I also did a CB test, but it wasn't positive for pregnancy. But my period still hasn't come, and I don't feel anything either... normally I get a lot of lower back pain. Any advice? Greetings!! -

Took a test today, 12 days late but still no second line.. strange -

Hi...
Welcome again. I think your hCG levels might be too low. I hope you're pregnant! I'll wait a little longer, and if things stay this way, I'll test again.
I have the same problem. I'm 3 weeks late. Since April 30, 2015, I've had some bleeding—dark drops for about 3-4 days. I don't really know what it is either... -

Maybe do a blood test instead? They can check that right away. I did that too, and unfortunately, it came back negative. Hope it works out for you! If that's what you're aiming for

Hey babe,
Jewel, we really want to. By the way, I’ve stopped bleeding, but I’m having a lot of back pain and I can’t breathe properly either, like something inside is holding me back... I’m also nauseous, need to go to the toilet often, and just want to sleep. I find it strange that a pregnancy test doesn’t show positive, but I feel like something isn’t right...
Thanks again, babe...

Yeah, it's really annoying because you don't have any certainty yet... thumbs up for you! My boyfriend and I didn't plan it, but after thinking about it, we think it's super and are now going for it 100%, hoping it happens soon!
Let me know if you hear anything, Kim!
Greetings! -

Yes, definitely Babi! It's the most beautiful thing you can have in this world! Of course, I did another test today at a family pharmacy... and it was negative again.... They told me to come by on Monday morning and they'll do a blood test. I'm going Monday morning and I hope it's accurate.
Babi, do you have any more questions?
I sometimes have disagreements with my husband and sometimes they escalate into big fights. I always want to talk things through... but he prefers to stay silent and quickly forget about it... and when another argument arises, this comes up again. What can I do? I want to talk things through and just stay happy with my husband, but I don't know what to do anymore, and we're both being stubborn.
Can you give me some tips?
Love, Kim -

Hi Kim,
That sucks, another negative result.. maybe your period is just a bit late. Of course I don't hope that for you!
And those fights are terrible, especially since you have a desire for a child and want to share that with him. Maybe try to put aside your stubbornness and admit your own mistakes if there are any at that moment?
Hope things work out! I wish it for you.
Let me know on Monday if everything's okay?
Greetings! -

Yeah, of course babe, I'll let you know. Thanks a lot! A delayed period? I really hope not... I asked my cousin, she's a pharmacist, and she said the bleeding I have isn't normal. Then right after, I got a normal period... Strange, it would be. I'm going to see the doctor tomorrow morning, I'm curious. I hope it did stick... After that bleeding, I always get heartburn and feel nauseous, and I have cramps... Really bad.
I'll definitely let you know.
Babe
Love, Kim

Hi! I was one day overdue today and had pretty strong cramps. I also noticed I had more white discharge. Took a test, and it was super positive!! Can't get clearer than that
.
I recommend testing right away if you have any doubts

Hi ladies,
I was supposed to get my period last week (weeks 7-10). I'm now 3 days late but I'm still not brave enough to test because we've been trying for 3 years now and every month brings another disappointment. I do have sore breasts (feels like there's a big bruise, kind of a pressing pain) and two days ago I suddenly had to vomit for an hour in the morning. Also, I've been going to the bathroom regularly for the past 2 days. Should I wait a bit longer to test? We really want children so badly. -

If you have regular cycles, you can definitely test already. Testing is also the only way to get certainty. -

Thank you.. I do have a regular cycle. I know it gives certainty, but I'm just afraid of a disappointment. I'll go get a test soon. Is it wise to test tomorrow morning or right away? -

Sarah, the tests nowadays are so precise that you can do them at any time of the day.
I know the nerves that drive you crazy.
When I was 1 day past due with this pregnancy, I had such nerves about whether it worked or not.
I barely dared to go to the toilet.
And I really did check very often. Every time I peed and there was no blood, I felt relieved.
I couldn't sleep because I was so afraid my period would start.
I didn't close an eye.
I also had to get up very often at night for the toilet.
And finally on day 32 of my cycle,
I nervously dared to take a test.
And yes, immediately two clear blue lines, not faint, just very thick blue.
So happy, so relieved.
Good luck later or tomorrow with testing
Greetings, Madelene
