    I was thinking the same thing as Nienke. You can also blame any fatigue on your body recovering from the infection.

    Say you had a stomach bug or just don't feel like it, so you're not drinking, or because you want to be fresh for the brainstorm the next day. There are plenty of reasons not to drink, you know And otherwise, indeed, order some apple juice or another drink in a wine glass. But... nowadays there are more and more people who don't drink, especially during work weekends...

    That antibiotic sounds like a good idea; they can't really check for a UTI anyway.

    @Wilma; I know. But there are people who need to leave our place, and I don't want to give them any reason to complain. I don't think they're stupid enough to put it in writing, but I don't want to give them any cause either. My appointment is at 16 weeks, so I don't think it's unreasonable not to tell them yet.
    But I'm not in the mood for comments like; oh, don't drink. Haha, are you pregnant or something.....

    I’m also going away with my team for a few days next Monday, and they don’t know yet either. I think I’ll also throw in that I’d be using medication. Good luck with it.

    Having a bladder infection and sore skin is just not pleasant at all ;-). It's super tough, right!

    @ Molly; about that red meat... I'm a huge foodie and I eat everything (they know) I do bite the caps... they're pretty well cooked.....
