Hi ladies...
I've had brown discharge today from wiping... I don't have any cramps in my tummy..!
I did have sex last night... I called the midwife and she said as long as I don't have bright red discharge I don't need to worry yet... but I'm curious if others have experienced this too... I'm feeling a bit unsure now... I have another scan on Jan 21st...

Hi Karin, I had this too, after an internal ultrasound. Nothing wrong. I even lost clear blood at 9 weeks, I think, also nothing wrong. I understand it can make you feel a bit unsure, but everywhere I read that this is very possible after sex because the inside is well-blooded. I wouldn't worry at all. How nice that you're getting another ultrasound, my last ultrasound was at 11 weeks. So I was also a bit unsure if everything was okay. I ordered an AngelSound so hopefully I can hear the little heart soon. Love, RJ

You've got a nice bump already, by the way. Is this your first baby?

hi... yeah, try not to stress either... I'm still feeling good... this is for my third baby... I already have two teenage daughters... who I didn't get as a gift, by the way... through IVF... and now with my partner I suddenly got pregnant spontaneously... very unexpected but super happy...! but because of the past... I went to the gynecologist and had a clinical check-up... and you get more ultrasounds, which is medically necessary but very nice for us! yeah, my belly is growing fast! I didn't expect that... hahahaha! and is this your first baby?

That must have been such a huge surprise! Sounds like it’s really special that you get to experience it the “normal” way again. IVF sounds so intense! Definitely great that you get so much control. I had that until 10 weeks too, lovely having an ultrasound every week. Though I found it less cozy with the gynecologist than with the midwife. But I do miss the ultrasounds now. For us, this is our first baby, we had a miscarriage before. I find this a pretty uncertain time, I don’t feel anything except that I have a little tummy, so everything’s fine in there. Had my last ultrasound at 11 weeks, before the so-called 13-week mark. Luckily I had a bunch of good ultrasounds up to 11 weeks, so I’m lucky there.
Anyway, before you know it, it’ll be January 21st! I really live from appointment to appointment, it’s crazy.

Yeah, that was definitely a surprise.. IVF is tough, you know! That's why it felt so strange at first that it worked out normally. I also had a miscarriage, by the way... so I understand your insecurity... and I live from appointment to appointment too! And my age plays a role too... I turn 40 in April... I'm only doing a nuchal translucency scan and nothing more... I don't really want to know either... I'm just so happy with this baby... I can't terminate the pregnancy if something's wrong anyway..... But your profile picture is definitely a beautiful ultrasound, you know! Well, we're just going for it.. It's going to be fine! Hihi! Love, Karin.. ;-)

Well, reading this, you've already had quite a bit thrown at you. It's actually a shame to worry so much; it's such a beautiful thing. We chose not to do the combined screening test, but I have to admit I still often wonder if it might be Down syndrome. You read that the nasal bone should be visible, and I don't see it on the ultrasound. So I keep going over it. But even we wouldn't be able to terminate the pregnancy. It's already so complete on the scan, a real little human being.
Today we received the AngelSound, and the heartbeat is still just as beautiful. That's quite reassuring, glad I bought it. But indeed, everything is going well, and we're going to enjoy it! Love

Hi... so good to hear you heard the heartbeat again! Yeah, it's also a shame to stress about it... I've made an appointment at the VK for tomorrow... I'm going crazy with worry... and I'm glad I can come by... still no stomach pain or bright red blood though... but still... it just doesn't feel right... You know what's funny is that I'm not really focused on the Down syndrome or whether the whole pregnancy is going well... I'll let you know how it went tomorrow, I have the appointment at 11... Love x

I can totally imagine that you're not feeling great! And one extra check-up can't hurt, right? Now it's time to count down the hours until tomorrow morning. I hope you'll have good news, but I'm confident that everything will be fine with your little one Good luck tomorrow, Love

Hi.. well, I had an ultrasound today and luckily everything is fine... but what a kick we have...! We can always call... I'm glad nothing's wrong... but from now on I'm really going to enjoy it! I'm tired of worrying so much..! It was such a cute face, it was stretching and moving hahaha! Shame you can't feel it yet! Love... x

Hi, I have a question. I'm now 4 weeks overdue and just noticed a bit of brown discharge when wiping. My breasts also have very noticeable blue veins. Is this a miscarriage?

    Hi,

Did you take a pregnancy test?
Being overdue doesn't necessarily mean you're pregnant..
You might have skipped a cycle and are just menstruating now....

    Hi
I’m 12 weeks pregnant on Thursday and already have brown discharge and brown bleeding for a day, plus dark brown streaks when wiping. I’m so worried.
