how does your belly feel?

Hey ladies! I think I have a bit of a weird question. I'm almost 16 weeks pregnant. For the last few days, I've had a really pressing feeling down low in my belly (so near my uterus). I'm wondering if this is normal because my belly is growing, or could it mean I have a bladder infection maybe? I don't have any pain when urinating, but I'm always very prone to them.
Could you tell me if you also constantly feel your belly like this, or if I should maybe pop by the GP for a check?
Love

Hard to say... I don't expect a bladder infection since you don't have any issues when peeing. I can only say: get it checked if you're not feeling at ease. Good luck!

    Hey Molly,

I'm struggling with it too! I called the VK today! Apparently, if you're pregnant, you don't have pain when urinating even if you have a bladder infection! I also have to pee a lot, or often feel like I really need to but it's not the case! So I'm wondering if I have a bladder infection or if the baby is just pressing on my bladder! Just going to give a urine sample at the GP's, think I'll do that too!

    Love, Lynn

Lynn, I have exactly the same thing. I'll go see the doctor tomorrow anyway. Better get it checked out. You should do the same. It's really not good to keep walking on it!

Just had it checked by the GP this morning, and they said it's not a bladder infection. So I'll wait out the weekend for now, and if it doesn't improve, I'll call our midwife. But today I'm doing pretty well.
Did you get it checked yet, Lynn?

Oh good that you went then. I called the GP on Monday and she thinks our little one is just comfortably resting on my bladder, but if it gets worse, I'll need to have a urine culture done. But it went well all week. Had a bit of discomfort yesterday, but then I just need to drink a bit more.
Curious what they're doing next for you? If it doesn't feel right, you should definitely get it checked out! GPs can sometimes be too quick to send you away!
    Love!
