Who tells first at work?

Hi 
I’m now almost (I think) 8 weeks pregnant, and in 2 weeks on Jan 2nd we’re having our first ultrasound, finally!!! After that we want to tell everyone that we’re pregnant. But my question is: who should I tell first at work, my team leader or my colleagues (I work in a small home office)? With my first pregnancy I had a different job and didn’t have this issue because it had already leaked out that I was pregnant

I'd tell your team leader first (so she doesn't hear it from someone else, it's just nicer) and then your colleagues -

I'd also tell your team leader first, so you don't get any hassle later on, and it's just the polite thing to do. -

Thanks! Yes, it's really exciting, I can't wait.. And I'm going to tell my team leader first before I tell the rest!
