a bit scared

Hi ladies, just a quick question... I'm currently 7 weeks and 5 days and I'm getting a bit worried. Last Saturday I had some pinkish mucus discharge, so I was already a bit panicked.
Monday I went to the doctor and she said it was probably implantation bleeding, but just to be safe, she took a blood test to check if my hCG had risen. Now the blood test is good (95,000 and a bit) but I'm still a bit uneasy because I don't feel anything at all... In previous weeks I had regular stomach aches, but I don't have any of that anymore now. Does anyone else have this experience? I have to wait until January 18th for the next ultrasound, and that feels sooooo long...

Thanks in advance!
hugs

As long as you haven't seen any more blood, you shouldn't worry too much. Take a look under the tab Pregnancy, week by week, and then at week 7. It says that up to that week, you can occasionally lose some blood without anything serious being wrong. And don't worry too much about not having any symptoms either; many women don't have any symptoms or feel anything. Count your blessings! ;-)

Hi Fieke, I also had bleeding, it was bright red and this at 8 weeks. It couldn't have been implantation bleeding anymore. I myself had very little discomfort, mainly just stomach pain. I also spent weeks just stressing, and often it got even worse because I felt nothing at all. Two days ago, that stomach pain came back double. That didn't seem right at all, I thought then. But yesterday I had a super ultrasound, so no need to stress about anything. But I read everywhere that pink discharge, especially with mucus, isn't a reason to worry. I was also told that everything is extremely well-perfused, so coughing could have burst a small blood vessel. My sister also had pinkish mucus discharge during her pregnancy. She was allowed to come in earlier for an ultrasound, because you shouldn't have to wait that long. I understand that drives you crazy, I did too, and nothing others said helped me worry less. I hope you can take some comfort from the positive experiences with bleeding, and I'd just call to ask if you can come in earlier for an ultrasound. Love,

Thanks for the replies, both of you I’m feeling a bit reassured already... I’ll remind myself that the hcg levels are good but I’ll only feel truly happy when I see on the next ultrasound that everything is in order.
You have a nice ultrasound there, RJ
