headache for a week

Hi! I'm about 8.5 weeks pregnant now and have had a headache for a week that won't go away. I had this too right before the miscarriage, so it's making me a bit worried. I've already been to the GP, but they couldn't do much about it. Are there any ladies who have experienced this around this time? Best, RJ

RJ, I had that too around that time. And sometimes for a few more days. But I think it's just related to your hormones. Don't think you need to be afraid of a miscarriage because of this. Just relax, do nothing, and sleep a lot!
    Love!

Hi Molly, thanks for your reply. I did know it could be quite normal during pregnancy, but I didn't realize it would last so long. Given my bad experience last time, I was really doubting myself. I've also had quite a fever over the past few days, which probably made the headache worse. What also worried me a bit was that on Saturday I had a very painful feeling in my groin all day, radiating to my knees. The pain was constant, and then went away after a day. I had that too before the miscarriage. Luckily, there's an ultrasound tomorrow, because you can become so unsure because of these kinds of symptoms during pregnancy. Love, RJ

Oh, what complaints! Are you feeling a bit better by now? I totally understand the worries! Let me know how the ultrasound went soon. X

Hi Molly, you're looking a bit better already. I'm glad I worried for no reason. Had a good ultrasound today, so I can move the due date back by 2 days again. Everything's completely fine. Love, RJ

Hi Molly, yes, I'll definitely do that now! After seeing the ultrasound yesterday, everything feels more real. I don't have to go to the hospital anymore, but I can go to the midwife instead. There's another ultrasound on Monday, really looking forward to it! Thanks for your kind messages! Love
