Dear Azurtje, that can definitely be according to me. There are tests that can show positive on the day your period is due or even one day before. Plus, it depends on the hCG level in your urine. Pregnancy tests are more sensitive and will show earlier, for example.

Hi, I also had a positive test at 3 weeks. I thought, how is that even possible, that can't be right. Because of a miscarriage I had two months prior, which might have been a blighted ovum, I was immediately scheduled for an ultrasound and my hCG levels were checked. Everything was fine; it turned out my hCG was just naturally very high because I produce it very quickly. Last week we heard and saw the heartbeat, so no reason to worry. With my first pregnancy, I only got a positive test a week after my missed period.

    Dear Mama-ok and RJ,
Thanks for your responses already, it gives me a bit more peace of mind in these stressful times.
Like your RJ, I also only got a positive test a week after my NOD during my first pregnancy. Hoping that I can see a little heart beating within 20 days too
    Good luck with your pregnancy!!
    Hugs
