1 wet diaper per day

Good evening!

We have three kids aged 6, 3 and 11 months.
The youngest one got a fever over the weekend of August 22nd due to sixth disease. After that, the fever went away.

Since that Wednesday after, she drinks and urinates very little, averaging 220 ml of fluid per day, and only 1 full diaper. So it's been like this for over a week now.
She still has (at 19:00) the same diaper on as early this morning, and there are just a few drops in it (a small wee).
I went to the child health clinic this afternoon, where they also saw that her growth and weight are going down in the curve.
They advised me to call the GP. I went there late in the afternoon and they concluded that there's nothing wrong right now and she's not dehydrated.
However, they said we should come back immediately after our holiday, between 3-15/9, if it's still like this, and we'll be referred on.

I'm not quite sure what to make of this? I'm not usually worried, but she used to drink really well, and now she's really urinating very little.. what do you all think?

Oh, that's so annoying. I think one full diaper is really little, I understand you're worried! I'd do everything I can to get her to drink more. Does she drink Roosvicee for example? Or squeezed juice? That also has fluids. And spooning yogurt, does that work? Maybe with a splash of Roosvicee too? (A bit of a shame about the sugar, I think, but hydration is really important?)

How did the GP assess whether she was dehydrated?

That 220 is really all the fluids I can manage…
I’m trying tea, soup, ice water, cucumber, apple, all sorts of things… those sugars don’t really matter to me right now anyway, right? ????

Can't you go to another doctor? Because I find one wet diaper per day really too little...

    Hope she feels better soon!

Moedervan3, that does sound really worrying. One pee a day is really not normal for a baby. You're right that sugars don't matter right now, fluids are what count. Feel free to go to another GP or the baby clinic. Sometimes you just need a different opinion or the doctor understands your urgency better.
