My daughter is just 5 weeks old.
I gave her a bath this evening.
Nothing strange, but at one point she stretched out,
jerked a few times,
turned bright red, and then started screaming.
I was terrified and had no idea what was happening… the water wasn’t too cold or too hot, and nothing unusual happened…
Does anyone recognize this?

I think she got startled by something. Maybe a little burp or fart.... -

It could also be tummy pain from the cramps. -

I think it's tummy ache/cramps; our daughter has had that before too. -

If you don't trust it, I'd still advise calling your GP.
