I do understand that if you stop the pill it can take a while before you get your period. That's normal. But the reason I kept thinking about it is because when I had my ex-partner 1.5 years ago I always took the pill continuously without a break. Now that I have my current partner I had stopped the pill and didn't get a withdrawal bleed or a period (that's because of stopping the pill) I get that! But I just had the feeling that my body wasn't cleaned of the sex with my ex. Especially the last time it was because it didn't drip out. And so that there could be a sperm cell in my body that was brought back to life and that I'm therefore pregnant by my ex while I've only had sex with my current partner in this past year plus a few months and I'm almost 22 weeks pregnant. I know myself that it's impossible but I just had the feeling that I wasn't cleaned of the previous sex with my ex-partner. You explained everything to me really well but I just had this feeling.

@laura impossible because after 72 hours it dies off and leaves your body with your urine

Yeah, that's right. How do you know for sure that it's removed with urine? Someone once told me it was from menstruation, which caused the confusion, but I believe you. It's just that you asked why I was thinking about it, hence this explanation!

@laura after 3 days your body will already be out of it, so not just with your period I read that on the internet
