Yeah, but it seemed logical to me that they’d come out somewhere. Like, for example, with a period. And since I hadn’t had any bleeding or a period, I thought they were still in there, you know? Haha. But if you say they die off and don’t need to come out with anything, then I believe that. And that they can’t become active again. Then I’ll stop thinking about it! Have a nice day and thanks!

@laura after 72 hours the sperm die way before your period, so. The sperm are gone then so they can't become active anymore because they're not there anymore, get it?

Yeah, you know how they disappear once they're miscarried. Through urine or period or whatever. And I thought with my silly mind that if I hadn't had it yet, they could be brought back to life hahaha pfff

And I didn't have any withdrawal bleeding, ** yes I had stopped the pill. But it's clear now. I just made myself worry for no reason

@wondertje3. I mean more like, once they’ve passed away, how do they leave your body? Haha, no one here knew the answer, which is why I kept worrying about it. Sorry for bothering you so much.
  6. Wondertje3 #26

@laura not everyone gets implantation bleeding, so that's not a must either I don't think they're silly questions at all; it's really good that you're asking them because then you can enjoy your pregnancy even more afterwards, because that's such a beautiful thing

I mean more like: I took the pill for a long time, then stopped, and didn’t have any withdrawal bleeding or a period. Then I got pregnant. So I mean more like, are the dead sperm cells from my ex-partner not coming out? I understand they die after 72 hours. But how do they leave your body, you know? I read that once, so I thought, if those dead ones are still in there and could be revived when you finally ovulate.
  8. Wondertje3 #28

@laura after 72 hours they disappear from your body without you even noticing, so really no worries, girl! It dissolves or goes out through your urine Again, it's definitely not a stupid question, I once looked it up and this question comes up more often than you'd think
  9. laura started this #29

Yeah, you're right. I also see when I read it back that I mentioned something incorrect. You thought I got pregnant right away after stopping the pill, but that's not true. I stopped the pill, didn't get a withdrawal bleed, and for 10 months had no period either. Then I got pregnant without having a period. Only after about 10 months, haha.
  10. Wondertje3 #30

@laura yes, that's right. I saw it, but sperm cells break down and are eaten by white blood cells or leave your body with urine after 72 hours, so not with your period After stopping the pill, it can take up to a year for your cycle to return to normal.

How dumb can you be. And that’s what a child gets.
  12. laura started this #32

thanks! So it doesn't matter that I never took a break during the pill to 'cleanse' myself, and that I didn't have withdrawal bleeding when I stopped? So that doesn't matter either? Just for clarity haha, then I'll log out! And wow, anonymous, you could take a lesson from people who actually try to help you.. what a weird comment.

    @wondertje3
So it doesn't matter at all that I never took a break during the pill to cleanse myself, or that I didn't have withdrawal bleeding when I stopped? That really doesn't matter, right? I'd be forever grateful
  14. Wondertje3 #34

@laura no because the sperm cells get eaten by the white blood cells or go out of the body with your urine, so after a few days, there's really no sperm left but you don't need to log out for me, you can ask me anything, you can also always send me a private message
  15. laura started this #35

A stop week isn't a real period, so I thought you get it to cleanse your body haha, and I always skipped it. Thanks a lot.
  16. Wondertje3 #36

@laura that's right, but the sperm don't come out with blood, they come out with urine or get eaten by the white blood cells
  17. laura started this #37

Top, thank you! But besides all that, it doesn't matter that I never took a break and didn't have a withdrawal bleed after stopping, and I haven't had a period for 10 months. Right?
  18. Wondertje3 #38

@laura no because sperm cells don't leave the body through blood
  19. laura started this #39

I mean, is it bad outside the sperm cells, haha.
And normally when a man ejaculates, sperm leaks out of your vagina, but the last time with my ex-partner it didn't come out of the vagina, and not even days later, even though he did ejaculate. Doesn't the vagina clean it up anyway? It doesn't have to leak out immediately.
  20. Wondertje3 #40

@laura it'll come out later with your urine But why do you think it matters that you've never had a period after stopping the pill?
