Frustration from the second miscarriage?

Maggie
Hi,
I just need to vent my frustration about my own body. Last month, on May 1st, I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks pregnant. My partner and I decided to try again, and I'm now 1 day past my expected period. Today I took a test and it was faintly positive, but I've already had cramps, back pain, and bleeding since last Saturday. Exactly the same as last time. It's brown blood, but it's been going on for 3 days now, so I expect another miscarriage. It makes me angry, sad, and quite negative about the future right now.

Anyone who can cheer me up?

Best,
Maggie

Hey, that’s so sad! Really tough to go through.
I’ve been through this too a few years back, exactly the same story. Ended up getting pregnant (and staying pregnant) 3 months after the second miscarriage. I used wheat germ oil after ovulation back then, not sure if it helped, but I figured why not give it a try. Now I’m the proud mom of two kids!

Don’t lose hope! I really hope it’ll be blessed for you soon!

Sometimes... life is really unfair. After our daughter, I had two miscarriages. The second one was at 8 weeks... pretty intense.
Fortunately, we're pregnant now... after 3 months, it happened again. And so far, everything is going well and nicely.
It doesn't erase the grief I've been through. Not just during the miscarriage... but also in the weeks that followed. I found it harder than I wanted to admit.
My midwife called it 'bad luck'. And it was... because things worked out for us again.
Big hug for now... during this tough time.

We just found out at the 10-week ultrasound that the little heart stopped beating after 7 weeks. So we have to wait for the miscarriage to happen

    Hi Maggie,
Unfortunately, I can't say anything to cheer you up, but I do want to say that you're absolutely not alone.
I've been trying to get pregnant with a second child for almost 2 years now. I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks and another at 5 weeks, both with early bleeding around my due date. It's incredibly painful and frustrating. I already have a healthy pregnancy behind me, so why isn't it working now? People around me who get pregnant without any problems, and then you feel this jealousy. The worst part is that I just can't genuinely be happy for them. So not like me!
I read so many stories that things can still work out after those miscarriages, so I'm holding onto that hope.. Wishing you lots of strength and trying to stay positive!

Anyway, brown bleeding is old blood, so it doesn't necessarily mean anything.. how are you doing now?
