A boy or an umbilical cord?!

Hi!
I went to the midwife today, I'm 15 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child. Luckily the baby is healthy and everything looks good! We're now unsure if it's really a boy, because the midwife said "I see something, but no balls. It looks like a boy". So she wasn't sure either. I really want to know so we can start buying stuff for our little one. I'm definitely going to do a prenatal ultrasound, but what do you guys think? I also see something "clearly". But it could also be the umbilical cord?

That's a boy, you can also see it from the nub on the first photo.
